12/2/2018 10:36 | I was rather hoping to see 190p by the results! | gbh2
10/2/2018 09:24 | Funny enough our daily candle has started showing signs of recovery, but the 1hr - 2hr - 3hr & 4hrs aren't in positive territory as yet ...you'd expect it to work the opposite way = from 1hrs then 2hr etc. | corlis
09/2/2018 13:45 | There is a nice big gap still to fill at 205. Would expect to see that filled in the coming weeks. | clarky5150
09/2/2018 13:43 | Agreed Corlis. I was disappointed with the surrender late yesterday but positive on today's action. Suggests to me the weaker holders are all but flushed out now. | clarky5150
09/2/2018 10:43 | 192.65 is our first gap above to fill | corlis
09/2/2018 00:01 | JUGEARS I admire your confidence and conviction. Not many around with the diehard, contrarian attitude. Good luck to you. ;) I am also a holder here and ignore market numptiness. | minerve
08/2/2018 17:52 | Jugears - Yes agree. I believe bulk of market is short term traders/shorters and lth by nature don't trade so don't influence price. I see it as top up opportunity. | dr_smith
08/2/2018 15:53 | So we now paying 168p equivalent a share ex the dividend which is quite considerable compensation for any earnings shortfall if indeed there is a shortfall | raffles the gentleman thug
08/2/2018 15:41 | Yea but the ten year gilt yield has already moved from 1.2% to 1.63% in a month - and that's still a big negative real yield incidentally - so Mortgage rates were heading higher in any event - plus Term for Lending and Funding for Lending schemes ending so the BoE rate rise is a mere formality from a central bank well behind the curve on inflation. But I agree TW v cheap here and limited effect other than one of sentiment | raffles the gentleman thug
08/2/2018 15:30 | Looks like It could be time to buy some more, Any Rumour of interest rate rise will have a big impact on the next inflation figures IMHO thus reducing the chance of an interest rate rise for a good while yet, Mr Carney should be watching inflation over the next 6 months before making any further interest rate decisions as I think that the economy is becoming very fragile & any interest rate rises could have very serious consequences. IMHO its better to wait & see before making rash decisions. | jugears
08/2/2018 09:15 | Jugears good luck Like you I only invest in blue chips where my good luck has been holding AAL Anglo American since January 2016 | corlis
07/2/2018 16:59 | corlis, Lloyds have in my opinion plenty of upside & definitely a share like Tw that I am very confident to hold for the long term, From experience you never know Where an share price is going to go long term.I Remember back in the early 80's buying a bombed out company that few people had ever heard of called Next for 56 pence per share which was a big gamble in those days,I think they peaked at £85.00 per share a few years ago, Long term I have no doubt that Tw & LLoyds will double in value when this will be who knows, But what I do know is long term holding of shares has paid off for me in all but one Investment that I have made over the last 30+ years ,& out of those investments I would say all have been a lot lower than my initial purchase price, at some point some have not even moved for 5 to 10 years & then either been taken over or just moved back to profitability after a long period of losses & then the share price has rocketed. Its all down to patience, I only want to make seriously healthy profits from investing, I am not interested in making a few hundred quid or a couple of thousand .If I invest 10k then I want another 10k back( this is probably possible short term if you day trade but I am not clever enough to do that)It doesn't matter how long it takes, it is however very important to be in well managed companies & hopefully I am. | jugears
07/2/2018 15:56 | Every little helps! Glad I bought more when I did, now looking for a good return on this & loyds. | jugears
07/2/2018 15:12 | next gap above 192.65-ish | corlis
06/2/2018 13:27 | Agree Terminated. Certainly hasn't done Aht any harm. | clarky5150
06/2/2018 12:50 | Silly price now but if they had embarked on a share buy back instead if a high divi we'd be 220p by now. | terminated
06/2/2018 09:19 | Bought more today! | baracuda2
06/2/2018 08:45 | I've been looking for cash but nothing left to sell otherwise I'd be buying more. | gbh2
06/2/2018 08:43 | Short term bloodbath, will buy more and look forward to the jump north. | martyn9
05/2/2018 14:50 | It's been very lucrative to date Jugears, usually about half the value of my portfolio but currently greed in control :)) | gbh2
05/2/2018 14:18 | gbh2- IMHO Its a very good basket to be in. | jugears
05/2/2018 14:02 | I got the price I was waiting for, even sold a few other shares first thing to by TW, only concern now is the vast majority of my Eggs are in this one basket case. | gbh2
05/2/2018 12:03 | I somewhat disagree actually Jugears for the simple reason that bond markets and end of Lending for Funding have already or shortly will have the effect of doing the BoEs work for them. So a rate increase is just a formality from here on in but shouldn't make a great deal of difference. | raffles the gentleman thug |
