I got the price I was waiting for, even sold a few other shares first thing to by TW, only concern now is the vast majority of my Eggs are in this one basket case.

I somewhat disagree actually Jugears for the simple reason that bond markets and end of Lending for Funding have already or shortly will have the effect of doing the BoEs work for them. So a rate increase is just a formality from here on in but shouldn't make a great deal of difference.

Has anyone any idea how much of an increase in any dividend this year we would have got, if Fairburn's £110,000,000 scandalous bonus at Persimmon had been only £10,000,000 which is still a massive sum to any reasonable person.

Raffles With Brexit on the horizon I very much doubt we will see another rate rise before next year IMHO the government can't afford at the moment to take that risk & would be better letting in flation takeover for a while.

With such a high dividend return any dip in price does not bother me.I have been in Tw long enough to Know that it will recover, As with all the other shares, Anyone buying now will see at least a 10-15% profit buy the summer Imho. I don't trade shares but am very tempted to put 50k in Tw & lloyds at the moment for the short term (on top of the money I hold in them for the long term) as I see a very quick profit here,

From Yahoo yesterday..

Full house

House builders were hammered in the wake of Brexit, which always struck me as an over-reaction. Latest figures from Nationwide show house prices rising 3.2% in the year to January, which is more than respectable and should soothe fears that we are nearing the top of the property market.

Last month, Taylor Wimpey said it anticipates further growth and improved performance in 2018, despite ongoing political and economic uncertainty. Average selling prices on private completions rose 3% to £296,000, with the overall average selling price up 4% to £264,000.

Taylor-made

Taylor Wimpey’s growth prospects are solid but the income stream is spectacular, with a forecast yield of 7.6%, covered 1.4 times, making this one of the best on the FTSE 100. Management has pledged to pay a total full-year 2018 dividend of around £500m, subject to shareholder approvals, with further capital returns in 2019 and beyond.

The £6.19bn company’s earnings may slow after four years of double-digit EPS growth.

However, forecasters are pencilling in steady single-digit growth of 9% and 4% in 2018 and 2019, respectively, by which time the stock will still be yielding a dizzying 7.8%. The yield alone makes this is one of the most attractive companies on the FTSE 100, while a forecast valuation of a mere 9.5 times earnings seals the deal.

Built a long position in Ripple over the last few trading days. At the current price I've built a nice position that I can afford to write off if need be but the upside is massive and relatively short timescale. IMHO obv.

The fundamentals on TW speak for themselves however I would be very interested in a Chartists point of view. Anyone? ...Bueller?

The last time I checked it was: 0.2 per cent of the value of transactions for banks, hedge funds and other financial companies, and 0.5 per cent for non-financial businesses.

Hedge funds managing to trade millions of shares in and out on 1 to 2% difference are quids in by the end of the year and they don't give a toss about PI investors.

The high yesterday was just shy of 194p. I sold yesterday. When you buy a decent number, you don't need a large increase to make money.
