imo it's more a case of thinking the Hedge Funds will drive the share price back down after collecting the dividend, my guess is we'll see <190p between June 9th & the next set of results.

However ensure you do your own research.

just for the record I haven't sold any (yet!). As long share price stays above 200p im not too worries... pull back inevitable due to the recent rise. But will have to sell in the next 4 weeks so might have to settle at 225p..

tbh I think it's more to do with the folk that are still sitting on 25p shares, I expected profit taking ca 210p and then a continued climb to ex date.

Good strategy; did the same in 2009.
There was some, blood that is, a few weeks ago but I didn't take the opportunity... and it seems to have been soaked up.
I think there will be more as markets have been falling for a while now; just waiting for the bath...

I have been holding TW for over 5 years now! I buy when there is blood in the market, factor in 1/4 companies to go bust but its a strategy that has been working well for me. The miners and oilers have been my recent focus....already looking good... and I think there is more chance of them doubling in the next year than TW...

I need to release some money and want to sell some of TW shares. I'm holding from 25p! With the new break out thinking twice.. although sp's always falls on ex div date...

Correct. So long as you are holding at close of trading on 1/6, you will receive the dividend. Even if you sell on XD day (2/6), you will still receive the dividend.

This is proposed to be paid on 15 July 2016 as a cash dividend to all shareholders on the register at close of business on 3 June 2016."

Indeed. The share price has been consolidating for the past 12 months or so, trading in a broad range of 170-205p. Any confirmed breakout above the 205p ceiling would be v bullish imo.

Looking good to reach a new high (post 2008 crash). This should continue to rise until the special div date.

This one is approaching that big barrier again so it will be interesting to see what happens if it finally breaks through. It's probably about time it did.
