28/4/2016 10:37 | This is a belt and braces question but we know the ex date for the divi is 7/4 but does the same date apply to the Special. The pay date is later and hence the question. Thanks. | billy5
28/4/2016 10:13 | Liberum have periodically been calling this down for the last year, during which the HFs have run the share price up & down for their own benefit, which has little to do with any broker recommendations imo ! | gbh2
28/4/2016 09:24 | JUGEARS they fell to 166.4 which considering they made the call when TW were 200+ was an accurate call. TW didn't reach 1.66 until may 16th 2015 so they havnt been making this call for a year at all. I am not doubting this company I have been here since 2009 in at 10p and still fully invested . Of course they can weather the downturn the falls will not be company specific .But the falls will come as people will cash in prior to the brexit vote and after ex div for the special payment which after the sums have been done will show to be self defeating . This is not predicting doom just highlighting a trading opportunity.gl | battue2
28/4/2016 08:58 | battue2, Liberum have been saying this for the last year, so obviously were going to get it right, unfortunately Liberums intersets are else where in the housing industry hence there negative stance to TW. I think you will find that the shares fell to only 1.69 & that was very briefly, This is a quality company with good management & good returns & any one with any common sence will see that long term this is a good company to invest in, Any company that can pay its debt off in a reccesion & return to profit When most people thought they would go bust (hence the 4.5p share price)Is worth investing in long term.IMHO Tw will weather any down turn & come out the other side an even stronger company than they are now. | jugears
28/4/2016 08:43 | It's an Update not results, TW is still on track business wise & prepared to pay the special divided. | gbh2
28/4/2016 08:42 | That all sounds pretty satisfactory to me. Pleased to hear there are no "Brexit" or "slowing London" excuses brewing for TW. at the moment either. I've taken a few based on that. Good fortune to all holders. | cwa1
28/4/2016 07:17 | Results look very positive today and looking forward. | beercapafn

27/4/2016 18:56 | JUGEARS , The last time liberium said 1.61p it did just that only few months ago .Which was fairly certain considering the trading gap from last May at that price. We probably will see those levels again after the ex date and prior to brexit vote. gl | battue2
27/4/2016 14:27 | How many times has liberum made the same call, Every time they say sell all the other brokers say buy or hold, personally I think that liberum have lost the plot completely. | jugears
27/4/2016 13:54 | Few are going to want to miss out on the special dividend imo, regardless of what Liberum post ! | gbh2
27/4/2016 13:52 | And then the share price went up.. Right (:-) | beercapafn
27/4/2016 13:39 | FWIW (which is probably not much)... Liberum Capital issues a broker note on Taylor Wimpey PLC - Liberum Capital today reaffirms its sell investment rating on Taylor Wimpey PLC (LON:TW.) and cut its price target to 161p (from 162p). | speedsgh
