Being in the property industry, I think this company will increase their market share in the years to come. Interestingly, neither party has mentioned building homes, YET.... House Prices will not fall, in fact they will continue to increase as there is so much demand. I'm happy I bought in about a month ago.

With a tasty div of 7.68 next month it's difficult to see share price doing anything but rising in the short and medium term. Whats not to like? Election may cause a little volatility in the markets but in reality share price should keep increasing month on month this year. £2.50 plus by the year end would not seem too unrealistic. I be topping up next week when I sell a bag full of RYA. Good luck to all.

Because of the ex dividend date shouldn't the price have fallen today? What is the cause of today's rise?

Yes I know there is a good chance that I may have to pay more but with the prospect of Millipeed and Ballsup fighting for the keys to the door, maybe I can get in on a dip.

Thanks to you both re the next divi.

I am familiar with the ways of dividends but thought it strange that they issued two a few months apart and didn't I want to find out that you had to retain your holding continuously through to the second one.

I got out of my 15k shares today as the profit was double the divi but will definitely return for the May lump.

Thanks and all the best.

Had a chat with my long standing broker and it seems I sold a day early however this dividend chasing is still a new game to me so I'll be using the above website link to checkout future moves.

The good news is I think there's more to be had here so I'll continue holding until May to ensure the special dividend, thanks hillbrown for the awakening :)
