1carus, I most certainly did, up 12% as I write, know the company well but sold out the first time they reached 260p.

I've no problem holding onto the my remaining TW shares, good dividend coming up with another bonus divi in July :))

Gbh2, I hope you kept hold of those Pace shares! ( I have a reasonable holding in both, sold some of my Pace last year near the peak and bought TW with them. I invest for the long term generally, but must admit there appears to be patterns with certain companies that are very predictable!. Can't complain though, both shares are doing well. Probably sell some more Pace and by into builders this year again -

TW. didn't quite make 150p yesterday Doyden, but it's steamed through that barrier this morning.

You've forgotten the SA108 form, but then if you work within the limitations and make some cash it's a good hobby ino.

I can't be bothered jumping in and out for the odd % here and there. Unless you are spread betting or trading within an ISA, the complex share matching rules - section 104 holding, 30 day bed and breakfast rule etc, all makes life too difficult from a capital gains point of view.Excellent results today. TW did well to finish where it did given the FTSE closed down .7%Holding!

Because I wanted to buy Pace prior to their results, made over 8% on them in 24hrs :))

LOL! Why did you sell half yesterday?

I bet you would be up, if you just held, and added as and when.

That's what I've done!

imo the greedy HFs will try and scare off PIs so they can maximise their holdings when it comes to the big pay out in July, I'm waiting to buy more if/when the share price is pulled back down again.

As we can determine from this morning's trading, the share price is going JUST as far and fast as the HFs allow!

Taffee.....please run off to school. We all know interest rates will remain low for the foreseeable future and that the help to buy scheme will stay in force for a few years yet. There is a massive shortage of housing and no matter what Government get in this May the good times are here for another 2 years at least. I see TW passing 200p sooner rather than later.

Good set of results. Good enough to hold for the 1.32p and 7.68p divis. As usual they will fall on the exd date but I expect them to recover, again as usual.

Not good enough to buy more imo (my third largest holding) but a very solid hold.

Well bearing in mind U.S. housing market propped by freddie Mac and f may along with teaser rates almost bought the world financial system to an end I think it's a fair comment...Yet we are doing the same things now

taffee - you might want to change your crystal ball if you think that interest rates are going to do anything other than remain low in the short/medium term.
