tara7 , You will just have to accept you bought in too high and stop trying to convince others your decision to dump at a loss whas the right one.
If you never short shares perhaps you should try as you are so certain these are going down.

"Fear" isn't that just up from Misery, across the road from depression in a place called despair ;)

So, EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE HAD NEWS TODAY OF YET HIGHER HOUSE PRICES THE SHARES CAN NOT HOLD ANY RISE.

The fear in the city this AM is a rate rise a great deal sooner than most think.

With land banks valued at over twice NAV be warned you could be burnt as FTB'S dry up, rates rise and if the stock market takes a hit.

That's odd. The ramblings of taffee aka taffychaff on iii, (right about the chaff) and the lady boy poster have somewhat....vanished.

I live in maidenhead and was told by local estate agent that there has been a 40% increase in people buying around this area due to the new high speed rail link that will take you into Canary Wharf in 45 mins..that should be completed in 2016 so can only see this area going one way.
Might be a good time for a few of you to check it out and make the move now.
Good luck.

Good day for the whole sector, hope it's the start of a climb back.

Looks like a standard ABC correction to me. Next wave has started if this is the case. Look for it falling back as if to retest the low. Should be a very good buy opp. Buyers already in should enjoy the ride. Imo

There was no real reason for such a large fall, although it had got ahead of itself at 130. I expect to see 120 again sooner rather than later.

I think this week will mark the end of the sector de-rating.

If wider markets sell off from here there will
be further declines, however I would now expect the sector to
broadly track the MCX.

Trading pattern unchanged even after a good day on both sides of the pond, guess it'll be down the politicians to reinvigorate the share price nearer election time.
