13/1/2012 23:31 | Here I have a strong case for TW. After about 3 quarters bouncing of 40p resistance today it finally broke it in style. I have used the weekly chart as it uses strong historic data & is a rather nice trading case. We have our rising support from Oct 2010 @ 30.5p +/-, 20 & 50 Ma's about to cross to the positive ( first time since beginning of 2011 ), descending resistance from Apr 2010 @ 42p +/-, Breach of the ongoing 40p. As you can see there is a very tight trading range between today's breakout & the 42p descending resistance so it may be worth watching for 42p to break as its the longer term resistance however I AM treating today's move as a initial warning of further upside. A break of 42p could see a trade gain of 30% to the last double top of 55p back in the summer of 2010. I would have a stop around 38.5p. Definitely one for the watch list. Regards Davy | davy855

13/1/2012 12:04 | No surprises here! Bellway p.l.c. AGM Statement Friday 13 January 2012 At today's Annual General Meeting (AGM) the Chairman, Howard Dawe will make the following announcement: "Bellway issued an Interim Management Statement (IMS) in early December and intends to issue a Trading Update in early February. Given the short trading time since the IMS I propose to make no additional comments on recent trading, however I would like to reiterate Bellway's current strategy. On a year on year basis the Group is looking to increase the number of homes it sells, raise the average selling price of these homes by changes in the product mix and continue to achieve margin growth. Nothing in the last month has happened to suggest that this strategy will not be delivered in the current financial year." A Trading Update will be issued on Tuesday 7 February 2012. | 127tolmers

13/1/2012 10:19 | Well, there we have it with the very small trade flurries. Being kept back this side of the 40's meantime. | shaws37
13/1/2012 10:10 | Logically, well overdue a re-rating after the business transformation (N America disposal, debt paid down, focus on UK, concentration on profit not volume). Mkt just waiting for confirmation it has worked/ is working. Could be a nice run up to Finals. | sir rational

13/1/2012 08:57 | another attack at 40, will break eventually :) | shaws37
13/1/2012 08:33 | Here comes the flurry of small sells to keep it down. :( | shaws37
13/1/2012 08:31 | Well, a long way to go - and for now it needs to stay well above the flag boundary for a while to have killed that barrier. Then there's the various levels of parallel resistance through to 46p. All with TW's own update to come - hope to f#*kc they don't manage to balls that up... But mustn't grumble so far, eh? | imastu pidgitaswell |
