Yes but when they go north, they will really go north. I don't just mean TW but the sector in general.

What's going on here? Has the FTSE grown some balls all of a sudden?

Be nice if TD can have a word with the yanks again and see a big push up from them later to recover some of yesterdays lost ground.

That was fascinating to watch last night though as the DOW shot down.

I think if we can hold 36p and above today that will be a satisfactory outcome in all this market and hung parliament chaos.

Unless the FTSE stops whingeing and makes a forward move of course but that is as unlikely as Brown being in charge for the next election!

Great game, didn't realise Spurs could make no 3

OTOH if they're 4th they might get eliminated in the playoff

That was the trough all right.

Selling @ 38p is nuts in my opinion, should bounce back nicely to 46p within days.

According to UBS we should see a major rally in housebuilders after the election.
I have started buying this am.

Optimistic but actually the housing mkt is not bad at all and there is a fair bit of pricing power in the builders' hands.

We have just exchanged contracts on a place after house hunting for about 8 months and anything decent mid range was just getting snapped up very quickly. Not much stock around at all.

I tried tempting the local new build development a few months ago to see if they'd discount a bit or throw in a few extras and they wouldn't bite at all, plus were selling steadily off plan.
