06/5/2010 08:16 | Another day of the same then.Sell bot of 4909 already switched on this morning. We lost half a penny between 4.30 yesterday and 8.00am this morning so all the grind up of yesterday afternoon counted for nothing. The only thing we can be assured about is that when the markets change direction and start moving back up,which they will at some point, TW will miss the party and lag behind the sector same as always. Come on you hedgies, move position. | grax
05/5/2010 23:35 | Hi HC does that you mean you have sold all your holding ? Sorry to see you go on this as I do think this will come good - just needs another year me thinks... but like you say some times it better to give your portfolio a kick start by moving on to a differnt target. Good luck anyway. | ![]() kulvinder
05/5/2010 21:16 | Well been in for around 20 months started Oct 08 had a great run for the first 12 months but just seeing my profit stagnating here, should have caught that spike last week but hey can't have it all. All in all been a great return for me but time to move on, still believe that 65p is achievable for later this year but just time for me to freshen up the portfolio. Good luck guys and I am sure that your patience will be rewarded. TD take no notice of the muppets and watch that cloud. HC | ![]() honest crust

05/5/2010 15:03 | I think we all know the procedure by now don't we? The FTSE will close well down full of doom and despair. The moment we shut the DOW will realise that it's not the end of the world and start to grind back up to parity.FTSE futures will show a better opening and then, the FTSE will fall apart in tatters again because some obscure bourse in some far flung country has got a problem. Call me an old cynic! | grax
05/5/2010 14:49 | If I was paying £975k in Ruislip I'd want one of those 23 bedroom houses, never mind the four and five bedroom ones! ;-) | grax
05/5/2010 14:30 | New homes to cost double Ruislip average May 4 2010 By James Cracknell A RANGE of exclusive new homes on the site of a former school in Ruislip have gone on sale for up to twice the average house price in the borough. Taylor Wimpey launched their showhomes for the Sandringham Gate development in Eastcote Road with a champagne reception last week. The 23 four and five-bedroom homes are now on sale for between £739,995 and £975,000. The properties are being constructed on a former site of Bishop Ramsey Church of England School. The average price for a detached home in Hillingdon borough, according to the Land Registry, is £463,582 as of February 2010. Tim Betts, regional sales and marketing director at the FTSE-250 real estate company, said: "The four-bedroom 'Compton' and five-bedroom 'Willow' homes look amazing, and the interior designs showcase the space and thoughtful layout of these elegant properties to the full." The five-bed Willow properties include a guest annexe, games room and three bathrooms. All the homes lie within landscaped gated grounds. | mashraf
