OK glass half full I know but kind of reassuring to see it snap back so quickly, the way the big picture is going in the world we need that 39-40p support to become really strong and one way of demonstrating that is when it's tested and comes through with flying colours.

It's not a case of a shortage of stock, it's as SR says. cheap stock. 40p is a psychological round number so stops will be placed either at 40p or slightly below. Why do you think it dropped and rose again so quickly. I came unstuck with this on TNI a couple of years back because my stop loss was visible on the order book and the price dropped for literally seconds, took out my stop and immediately the spread closed again. Never again will I place a stop loss sell order to be visible on the order book.

Exactly who does win. I could understand on a small aim share but surely there is no shortage of shares for TW.

To obtain the shares at a lower price. You put a stop in at 39p. The stop is hit, your shares are sold, the price immediately goes back above 40p. Who wins?

Well if there was going to be a test of 40p (or 39p) it would be today. Some stops at 39 may have just gone...

I was right, still doesn't seem to have spooked the mkts too much.

Good job our TW. foundations are solid!

Hard to say - TW will want reassurance that the buyers are 'good for the money', and unless they're paying cash (Mr B...) the buyer will have financing arrangements to sort out and confirm. Plus the buyer may want due diligence themselves. Could be a while before it completes, but an announcement of a deal could be a few weeks to a few months - hopefully the former.

In the meantime, some pointless lines on a chart:

How long do people think it will take for the TM news?

We know a (second) round of bids was submitted last Friday.

You would expect assessment by TW.'s advisors to be reasonably quick, I'd be surprised if we didn't learn more within a few days.

Gotta look on the bright side. Could be a major test of support across the market in the next few days, if it weren't for TM news imminent I'd have been out I guess but not worried about TW. now even if it slips a little.
