A clear pattern emerges.It's a negative spiral remonstrative zigga -zagga pattern.This tells me that ,WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY,Tate went up this morning.As to the future , it tells me that I will only know afterwards.Guess.

Finally breached £5 again - a 2 yr high,suspect there will be a bit more profit taking , but I am sitting firmly on my hands.
I want £6 - this was £8 three yrs ago.

Investors Chronicle

Tate & Lyle have undergone a major board shake-up over the last 18 months, replacing its chief executive, chairman and finance director. New boss Javed Ahmed saw shares jump at his imminent arrival. Disposals have seen debt predicted to have fallen by £490m by the year-end. Shares offer a dividend yield of over 5% and further debt improvement should underpin a return to dividend growth. This recovery story is a buy.

I've been a bit heavy here for a while , so it may be undue optimism , but £5 before the end of the year doesn't look out of the question now.

Tate & Lyle gained 2.8 per cent to 450¾p as JPMorgan Cazenove said a trading update due this month may provide a catalyst to recoup recent underperformance. "Recent evidence of firmer by-product prices improves the outlook for the rest of the calendar year," it said.
