75 recruited a few week back, I'm hoping the full 100 have finished the trial or not far off by now.

What are people doing selling now. Not Lansdowne, but PIs whose little hundreds and thousands here and there are pushing this down ?! Why on earth sell now !? No day trading to be had anymore. Why even buy in the first place if not willing to hold until June !? Dipsticks

(slightly relevant although tenuous as tests effluent for Covid-19)

DEMG was fast tracked by NICE as one of the top technologies to be taken up by the NHS. This was years ago. I was a large shareholder for 10 years plus. Got fed up listening to Nigel Keen promising cash flow positive, profits etc. I hope you get a profit from your investment or a bid comes but I would not hold my breath. I had many false dawns.

I will get in trouble for this (and might have to ban myself!) but DEMG looks like it is about to take off again. It is looking ridiculously oversold after the recent rise and note from TP saying it was a takeover target.

Motley fool posting again ... take em with a pinch of salt but...

Verdict

I would not put all my eggs into one basket when it comes to coronavirus vaccine stocks. I would especially not put them all into a small cap company. However, I feel Synairgen is the type of low-price small cap that could be worth a gamble. I don’t see an issue in investing a small amount of money.

I would not be able to tell you how many companies there are out there trying to create vaccines and treatments. But I do know for certain that not all will succeed. So, as long as you understand that there are risks and you’re prepared for a loss, what is the harm in trying a small cap?

I have taken a few more. It is apparent that there is a lack of serious selling going on in the background but there is also a lack of appetite to buy. My gut tells me that this is about to change hence why I have purchased.

cambrad,

more likely due to some recovery in the main market and investors going for 'safe' returns.

Very tempted Nobby, but don’t really feel like taking placing shares (or whatever they are) at a premium to the placing price.

Making a decision based on emotion not the best idea, I would hope there is some news soon.
