US investors seem strangely attracted to ‘expensiveR16; shares.
A UK company valued under $1 a share probably appears near bust!

My guess is an RNS on Monday confirming Home Trial start and Hospital Trial recruitment complete. That starts the clock ticking - 2 weeks to complete trial and perhaps 2 weeks to announce some results - mid June is not far away.

As far as the daily ups and downs of the share price is concerned its best not to watch too closely. I view these worth £100m based on a successful COPD trial which supports the current market cap of £70m today.

Gilead has increased in market cap by some £15 billion so again the share price is not expensive at this level. Reading US reports on potential treatments SNG doesn't even get a mention. It will not take much US investor interest to have an effect here and there is plenty of time for the news to spread.

Richard Marsden told me they would RNS the start of the home trial! And I would also expect them to RNS the last patient last visit in SG016.

What I can say is I won’t be the one to look back and think if only like on NCYT or GDR!

Plus I really like the way the team are handling things professional and trying to grab their moment driven from years of hard work.

As for the II selling seen it before and once it’s done it will rerate patience required but in the scheme of things irrelevant for those holding past June.

That is true but I have a large quantity and I balance what I am willing to hold in value terms. Even if this continues to climb I have a set limit I am willing to hold in any one company. That way I ensure liquidity and profit. Everyone has a different strategy.

Not for me, people will do what they wish until results but the risk/reward is June. If they are good it becomes a completely different set of rules that will leave this trading range well behind. If there not great it will get a hammering for a little while regroup and come again. If your target is £1 great different for all of us. I am taking the risk in the hope it is successful and at some point someone tells me we are taking your shares. If I am wrong and it does not happen then so be it but I live in hope.

I suppose it depends on the news we receive that takes us to a pound, if it a massive yes result to our ongoing trials then surely pi,s would hold for more substantial gains ???

Trouble is if this hit a £1 a lot of others would also be selling down including me.

That’s the one pound question - if they held off this would spike and they would be able to dump easily.

It’s link that worries me.

This only needs the dumping of stock to stop in order make a move north, it does not require an RNS

Glad I did not get a chance to top up yesterday now. I do wish all fundraisers came with a minimum timeframe before selling was possible, especially for those that are not open to the small PI's. Oh well, as some have said, it provides better buy in prices for the bulls while the seller clears out (or reaches target holding). GLA.

I dont think anybody is saying it is necessary it is what the company have more or less confirmed is going to happen. I think the end of the hospital trials would be fairly significant given it would be the first blinded trial to do so.

Why is a RNS Necessary to say the test has started or completed when we already know the results are in June

RnS are not for ongoing commentary on day to day running of a business they are for sensitive and significant pieces of information which could move the share price.

I would not buy more knowing they have started or finished anything as I know the results are not until end of June

I seem to recall the company said they will RNS once the home trial starts. Would be normal to also RNS when the hospital trial is fully recruited.

Not sure they will, I think maybe more 10% and would suggest they are not that far away. We are in this range until they are finished and then we will rerate.

If you plan to hold longer than 3 months it won’t make any difference what they do!

Equilibrium the most likely RNS next IMO is going to be the 100th patient has been dosed OR the first home patient has been dosed.

Dont think that is unreasonable. Could be today could be in a fortnight. Everyone should know by now this is a 7-8 week wait so strap yourself in. If price goes below 50p again I'll stick a few hundred quid more in.
