I got in well below the Ask so would suggest still plenty of shares to be had. News this week IMO so might see some added interest. Looks like recruitment to the hospital trial is complete, Soton and Leicester not taking anymore patients and rereading the last RNS it stated more than 75 patients dosed which would suggest they were further ahead with the recruitment.

I note that there are two distinct camps on this thread - those who are mainly watching the share price curve and those who are mainly watching the drug development progress. It will be interesting to see who wins out. FWIW - I am sitting astride the fence, and very painful it is too.

PDT. Good research just had time to read it. I like this part:When the triple-drug combo was administered without interferon 7 days or more after the onset of symptoms, the results were no better than with Kaletra alone. Prof. Ian Hung, the lead author on the report, Sounds like they didn't need the other two drugs lol

Not convinced they are selling out,8%-10% holding maybe? Halving their original holding to derisk before results and bank profit. What will tell us is if the share price rerates and holds 70p which I think it will, news due, either way the shares are being absorbed somewhere. IMO this will rerate shortly.

Lansdowne are reducing their holding by just over 1% a day and have 11.69% left.
Last holding announcement was for Thurs 6th, so if they sold 1% on Fri 7th and 1% today they will be under 10% now.
I have already said that I think they are selling down to Zero. If so then around another 8 to 10 days to go - unless an Insti takes a chunk off their hands.

On the face of it, outside of the major shareholders, there’s now about 100m, but no one with >3%.

Don’t understand why the company’s broker don’t just approach Lansdowne for their block of stock they wish to dispose of and then place it with other institutions who took stock in the placing. Once the market is confident Lansdowne are out of the way, the price might appreciate into the trial readout.

Considering we hit good resistance in the mid 50's suggests on the next wave we will get to the late 70's even before results

Worth remembering why SNG is where it is re COVID. Bellow published last year.

Results: Inhaled IFN-β was well tolerated. All antiviral biomarkers were significantly upregulated 24hrs post dose compared to baseline (p<0.05), except CXCL10 after 3rd dose (p=0.06) (n=5-6). Fold upregulation in Mx1 and OAS1 gene expression was similar to that seen at the same dose in stable asthmatics.

Conclusions: Antiviral biomarkers were significantly upregulated in the lungs of COPD patients following the administration of inhaled IFN-β, supporting the proposed mechanism-of-action as a treatment for virus-induced exacerbations.
