06/5/2020 08:50 | white123, You've posted some stuff lately, much of which chimes with my sentiment. Just one observation regarding your last post - if folk want to trade this 100 times a day - they shouldn't be criticized for it. If they get their timing wrong - and moan as a consequence, then criticism is due. But for those with the golden timing touch, the scope to add to your total (without additional outlay) is huge (both here and elsewhere - esp the C-19 related stocks). I just wish I was one of those with the golden touch. | ![]() 801710245

06/5/2020 08:37 | Whites stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and let people do as they please., many ways to turn a few pennies into the account, I agree somewhat that the real money will be made by switching off and letting things run, but there is that risk that the drugs a waste of time, it happens, so don't bet the farm on it, Otoh you could end up as Robbie once said Rich beyond my wildest dreams Good luck | ![]() d1nga
06/5/2020 08:27 | Switch off.. Turn the screen off and go away.. :-) Investments should be taken with longer than a 10 minute view. When doing the research into SNG enjoy the science and invest then wait for fruition. I think from reading the posts here that this "New wave" of investors wants to buy in at 9.00am and sell out at 9.10am with a 200% profit and declare how good they are. Take a longer view.. 1 year, 2 years, 3 years.... Just because you are not trading in and out 100 times a day does not mean you are doing something wrong. And NO AMOUNT of continual posts asking if there is any news yet will actually generate it. God forbid the results are not as wanted and this tanks. I wonder how many here are using leveraged products and money they can ill afford to lose. Judging by some of the desperate posts I would imagine quite a few. | ![]() whites123

06/5/2020 08:20 | Yes. Its shame. But these shares get traded so easily. You just have to have faith in your investment that it will come good. But its hard not watch constantly. easy when its rising, not so when falling.. | ![]() peachie 74

06/5/2020 07:25 | When you consider how desperate the situation is starting to get in places like Peru you can see the huge potential of SNG's product if any "proof of concept" is shown. I am not sure about the manufacturing and costs involved as Peru and others will hardly be able to afford high prices but hopefully there will be a way when the will to help is present. | ![]() lauders
06/5/2020 07:17 | I think that is the first time publicly that Richard has suggested that there could be conditional approval on the back of the current trial data. He acknowledged that in an email to me but now he has said it to the world. This is highly highly significant because the value of SNG001 goes up as a result! | ![]() nobbygnome

05/5/2020 22:35 | Copied fro lse posted by PaleAle "Transcript: [ID] Now, a new drug developed to treat COVID-19 patients is being trialled in Southampton. Let's find out more about it from the chief executive of Synairgen, Richard Marsden. Now Richard, your company has developed this. It uses a protein called interferon beta which our bodies produce when we get a viral infection. Now when do you expect to get the results from this? [RM] So the trial is split into two parts and we get the first part results at the end of June this year. [ID] And if it's all successful, what effect will it have and how quickly can you get it out there? [RM] Yeah, so the first part of this trial is where we're giving the drug to people who are hospitalised and interferon beta is an absolutely critical protein - it's an antiviral protein that we all make when we get respiratory viruses. Normally we use it to combat common colds and flu infections. And the reason we're giving it to patients as a drug at all is that asthmatic and COPD patients (those are people with chronic bronchitis) have a really rough time in the winter because of these very common viruses. So we've been developing the drug to give it to these patients during the wintertime, and when coronavirus jumped onto the scene earlier this year, we realised that there was an opportunity to deliver it directly to the lungs of these patients when they're hospitalised. So what we want to try and achieve with this is to get people out of hospital sooner. And also prevent those people who are admitted to hospital from needing ventilation and an escalation to their treatment regimen. So the data from this part of the trial read out in June. [ID] So if you get the good results in June, and then it has to be licenced to go through the NHS presumably - all the licencing procedures - how long does that take? [RM] Well, normally it would take several years but we're seeing things go through quite quickly, as we've seen a company called Gilead, they've got a drug called Remdesovir via that's been accelerated through approvals by the FDA. It's absolutely critical that we get good data from this first part of the clinical trial and our first port of call will be the regulatory agencies that the EMA, the FDA and the MHRA in this country, we'll have a conversation with them about the data and map out a route from there. [ID] Well, fingers crossed Richard, thank you very much indeed for joining us, that's Richard Marsden, the chief executive of Synairgen." | ![]() eeza

05/5/2020 22:13 | On Ian Dale. Key points: - 2 parts trial with first i.e. hospital part due results end of June - confirmation it's an anti viral drug and mentions COPD and asthma as its background. -goal to prevent ventilation and get people home quicker - again said June results *take note some* - mentions Gilead being expedited - critical we get good data Literally 2 mins | ![]() adman50
