So not posted about SNG before but I thought I would share something interesting if applicable

My next door neighbour got moved to a care home around a year ago. In the care home someone has tested positive For Covid 19

They have since tested everyone in the home and he has tested positive also with no symptoms.

The interesting thing is they have transferred him to queens medical centre Nottingham to trial a treatment on him

Could this be SNGs trial, are they trialling in Nottingham?

If everyone knows the code it’s not a code.

= = = =

Nonsense. 'Morse' is a code. Anyone who doesn't know it, can google it.

As has been said, daily trade patterns seem to be repeating with early bulk selling followed pm by steady buying. Plus shedloads of late reported trades, of course....

Low volumes so far on a down day. I am heartened that FCAP have been stuck on 53p for a while now. Seems like they do not want to take it lower but that will be dictated by the sellers in the market.

About time we ticked back up.Still seems to be a reluctance to let us rise when we see blocks of buying.Time for a walk.

They have been promising a deal for ages so I will believe it when I see it....

Nobby - did you read the last quarterly update ? It sounds quite promising on an announcement for a licensing deal in the near term.

You are correct in that they have 17% of a promising fibrosis drug where there could be an announcment of a licensing deal at any time. Pharmaxis has been looking for a partner for a while. Fibrosis has been a hot area in Pharma even before the apparent possibility of increasing problems in this area due to Covid 19.

General question:
‘Why wait till now to sell?’ Ie. When the sp’s 53/54p? And sometimes in sizeable chunks ie 25/30k?
Even if placed shares at 35p, why wait till now?
And if not placed, ie PIs, then you’re selling at a loss.
Puzzled.

Despite there being a distinct lack of any such evidence, there are investors and traders who are absolutely convinced that mm's use buy and sell codes as market signals. It is alleged that a mm might put a small amount of stock through Level 2 in order that its appearance on the order book will send a message to his other mm friends. The misconception is believed to have originated in the USA when a particular mm claimed that he and his colleagues worked together in this way if one of them found themselves in an uncomfortable position. While it certainly is possible to put such fake trades through an exchange, we can now use mobile phones to talk to each other if we really want to, but some are still convinced that when they see a trade of a single share it means an important RNS is coming. As an aside, some speculators are actually believed to attempt a price ramp by buying a single share in the hope that it may trick others into trading, but that tactic cannot be blamed on the market makers.

I noted that SNG have another product, LOXL2 inhibitor ( I think in collaboration with Pharmaxis, but they still have 17% ?). Its a drug aimed at blocking or moderating Fibroblasts from forming scar tissue.

I noted it because isnt one of the long term health complications post CV19 infection - pulmonary fibrosis ? Is this another drug up their sleeve that might be useful ?? Ive not heard it mentioned, so perhaps not.

Any thoughts ? ( NG et al )

Exactly, keep them in your locker until the trial results. Bring them back out at 4 quid

Holding for news on the trials. It will probably dip further but, on a successful outcome..the dip will be to the launchpad. I'm content with that and do nit consider this a punt....more a calculated opportunity. ( if that makes sense )

Every day the same picture on the intraday chart:
Within the first hour drop then buys up to roughly the half of the minus % (call it intraday bull trap) from the initial drop and then until the closing bell rings steadily down to the level of the initial drop at the start of the day.

Sitting right about on trend line now, a break through and 40p is next stop, a much better buy price than 50p of course.

Ok, perhaps it's urban myth, I just never heard of it before. It's a fact in the fact it has been identified in folk law . I probably do deserve the bants coming my way over this. But people do seem like they are sitting on sandpaper today.
