An acquisition by one of the larger miners is not out of the question imho especially while prices are low and we seem to be at the bottom of the cycle.

There's plenty of movement in shares all of a sudden now that interest rates here and in the US are seen to have finally peaked with inflation now falling. Nothing to do with "Richy'"s policies (does he have any?!) but everything to do with the fall in oil and gas prices.
