18/10/2023 10:06 | Rhodium 5,400 (USD/t oz.) | bountyhunter
18/10/2023 09:42 | If a horizontal line was drawn at the low points in July and August you will note that a mirroring of previous share price activity is forming. This bodes well for a share price of c90 in the near future. | wsm812
18/10/2023 09:35 | Broken 80p resistance..all good to testing 90-100p gla | baldrick1
18/10/2023 06:32 | Not true.I have been selling PHEV and full electric vehicles for ten over years. Hardly replaced any batteries. The range drops slightly, that's all. | soilderboy
17/10/2023 22:30 | The current upbreak from the wavy bit (technical jargon) on the chart looks very similar to the one at the start of 2021. Here's hoping it continues in a similar fashion. | yf23_1
17/10/2023 21:49 | So it is, and by quite a bit! $5,150.00 USD/oz | bountyhunter
17/10/2023 21:46 | rhodium price up | nickwild
17/10/2023 19:43 | Yes a welcome change of direction, long may it continue! | bountyhunter
17/10/2023 14:40 | Agreed, some sustained buying is edging up the share price | wsm812
17/10/2023 14:25 | Livening up a bit here. Bring on 100... | pinemartin9
16/10/2023 19:01 | EV car battery life likely to be only 6 to 10 years in U.K. weather .. full set £12k ish .. they are not telling the full truths . At least with self charging hybrid you can still run on the combustion engine ! | kennyp52
16/10/2023 17:44 | I asked a Toyota Prius taxi driver the other day what his average mpg was and he replied 60mpg which again is why they use them. They use excess energy to charge themselves so despite the weight use petrol more efficiently than the petrol equivalents with zero range anxiety vs purely electric vehicles. | bountyhunter
16/10/2023 16:58 | Also, I think car manufacturers make greater margins on hybrids than even ICE cars so they prefer making/selling them. I'm not 100% sure about this so please check for yourself. | mfhmfh
16/10/2023 16:24 | No range anxiety for hybrids or queueing awaiting charging which is why so many taxi drivers use them, especially the Toyota Prius mentioned earlier which contains more rhodium in their OEM catalytic converters than other cars. One day the charging capacity problems may be overcome but that will take some time and possibly lag the uptake of electric vehicles making the problem even worse. | bountyhunter
16/10/2023 14:54 | I can't see hybrids as a sensible long terms solution. Extra complecity and cost or manufacture and maintenance. Extra weight, so less efficient, and maybe more road damage. I can see an interim role while EV ranges improve and a decent charging network emerges, but not a long term role | greyingsurfer
16/10/2023 10:23 | from my understanding, hybrid cars have more PGMs then ICE cars. EVs on their own cannot replace ICE cars. A majority of the replacement will be with hybrids. IMHO. | mfhmfh
16/10/2023 09:49 | Blippy, there is no futures market for Rhodium which can lead to volatility but I agree uncharacteristically flat recently. This is interesting: "Low emission vehicles like the Toyota Prius and Ford F250 contain more rhodium in their OEM catalytic converters than other cars. The same goes for luxury cars like the Ferrari F430 and BMW 760 Li, which have about $1300 worth of rhodium in their OEM catalytic converters." What is also interesting is that most commentators see the demand for and price of Rhodium increasing going forwards despite the increase in electric cars due to it's multitude of uses. | bountyhunter
13/10/2023 18:43 | Ex div is 26 Oct, BTW, payable 1 Dec. 5p. | blippy3
13/10/2023 18:40 | Where are you guys getting the price of Rhodium from? I've used hxxps://tradingecono but the price seemed to be completely flat for 2023, except for recently, when it's 4750. It does raise the question as to how Rhodium managed to be so stable. Seems like foul play afoot given how volatile it usually is. | blippy3
13/10/2023 15:49 | When is Ex Div Date? | herbert0
13/10/2023 15:11 | Hopefully a close above 80p on the strength of PGM price rises will be the start of a further climb next week. | wsm812
13/10/2023 12:28 | Maybe it's just me. But I have a snapshot where baldrick has over several massages in the past couple weeks, harped on about rhodium price falling and said he will stay clear whilst the weak market let's sylvania continue dropping to 65 and below. He has today edited his messages, to remove all that misleading drivel and pasted articles, and replaced them all with one line price targets. It's important to take a note of certain posters and to know the games they play. | apfindley
13/10/2023 12:03 | Rhodium at $4,900 | mfhmfh
05/10/2023 12:33 | I'd say it is showing resitance at 80p currently baldrick. We need to close above it for 3 days to confirm a break through. | wsm812
05/10/2023 12:05 | Strong support at 80p..gla | baldrick1 |
