07/9/2023 18:50 | The dividends in my SIPP this year have been absolutely insane it's the largest annual payout since I opened it back in 2018. It's just been a bumper year for divis on UK stocks as a whole long may it continue. Interesting observation the UK 250 almost 70% have been in a bear market this year all under the 200 ma, the average yield across all companies listed is 4.7%. | creditcrunchies
07/9/2023 18:42 | I didn't realise just how many of these shares that I actually bought I've got over 65K of shares no wonder the dividend is so high. I just buy tranches here and there accumulating at the lows from the SIPP cash account I just forget how much I buy sometimes as it's an account I don't pay anything in to it, it's just trades and divis. The same as I've done with Serica and Wickes. Those are big dividend payers as well with results due soon. Fingers crossed! | creditcrunchies

I can see us heading back towards 100p very soon. Hugely oversold. DIVI maintained going forward, so its a total steal at these prices. Keep buying! | jackthecat1

07/9/2023 11:36 | Sylvania partnered with a 'binding technology' player to co-develop a novel chemical bonding process. The aim is to create a cold-bonded chromite ore pellet suitable for ferrochrome ("FeCr") smelters but with the added potential to markedly cut the smelters' electrical energy consumption per ton of FeCr produced. In exchange for funding development costs in the venture, Sylvania holds the licence for any future chrome pellet production in South Africa. This research and development project is expected to yield positive results and may enable the Company to diversify into other areas and commodities. The pelletizer project has progressed well, and pilot-scale work has been completed. Additionally, potential industry partners are being engaged with to assess the commercial viability of the technology. | donska
