Sentiment is destroyed in this stock. I feel for management as they're doing an excellent job. You have to wonder at what point would they take this private again.

Trading significantly ahead of current FY 2024 market expectations, FY 2025 outlook unaffected by proposed changes in Vaping laws, share buyback started, yet it continues to fall. Is this a huge bargain or do the sellers know something we don't ?

Agree with Aishah. A tax on vaping won't dent demand at all IMO

If anything would be positive because the more reliant on vape tax that govt funding becomes, the less likely they would be to try something more fatal like prescriptions

Of course there will be more taxation on vapes in future. Govt always target addictive items, and they will want to replace lost tax on cigs. If you study history of taxing cigs, the tax is not bad for industry.

#1163 - is there a link to the 105% cap? tia

Always very hard / impossible to link buyback to share price performance, partly because volumes arent that material and partly because there are 1000 other factors driving a share price

However if you look at TIG, their buyback is 10% of market cap and the share price has moved up in a market which has been soft

The other limit is that you cant buy back shares for more than 105% of the previous 5 day average. Hence why they didnt start the buyback straight after the announcement

A million pounds worth upto the 30th April No further constraints as far as I am aware The market is not making it easy All the other buybacks I have witnessed recently have had no impact on the share price whatsoever

Well at this rate we will be through previous resistance levels and gapping upto the 150 level Market is desperate for sellers I was going to take some profit at 131 but I do not see the point at present
