Useful reminder that supreme isn't solely a play on vaping. It's a FMCG business operating at the value end of the market. There's no reason it cannot continue to develop, establish and grow successful brands and products across its divisions. With the capacity in place, an established customer base, and cash to boot, I see more opportunities to augment products and brands over the coming months and years. Maybe too early to say that SUP will be the next premier foods or Kimberly Clark some day. But I remain very optimistic this can grow much further from here. Looking back to old reports in 2008 to current, the evolution has been extraordinary. Even from IPO to date, the story has been one of expansion.Take disposables out of the valuation. It's still a very exciting prospect.

It’s never going to take off until the disposable vape cloud has cleared. I don’t see how you will ever stop people from littering. Only way to stop it would be some sort of returnable deposit - and that would have to be a few pounds per vape, administration would be a nightmare. Shame as it’s a decent company. Diversifying will be the key as mentioned.

Still a decent size holding for me.

In this upbeat interview, CEO Sandy Chadha of Supreme takes me through today’s upgraded FY'24 EBITDA guidance to between £28m-£30m (+13% vs prior consensus £25.6m & +49.5% LY £19.4m) on sales 28% higher at £195m-£205m vs LY £155.6m.

I expect the elfbar distribution deal is also opening doors for it's core range. They can go to the retailer and say why have 2 different suppliers for disposables and non disposables when you can get both from us.

No negative impact this financial year. Possibly in future depending on what the government does.A disposable ban will probably be balanced out by their non disposable offering I expect.

Supreme (LON:SUP) - AGM update - FY24 significantly ahead (new research report:

In today’s AGM statement, Supreme plc reported that the strong momentum evident in FY23 has continued into the first half, as a result of which the Group now expects revenue for FY24 to be in the range £195-£205m, with (adj.) EBITDA of £28-£30m. This guidance is up to 6% ahead of our previous revenue outlook of £193.5m and up to 17% above our (adj.) EBITDA estimate of £25.6m.

The Group notes that of the incremental £3.5m in (adj.) EBITDA - versus a prior market consensus of £26.5m - £2.0m arises from the distribution of Elf Bar branded vaping products, and the remaining £1.5m from other core operations.

Our Fair Value remains at 200p/share, indicative of a FY24 EV/EBITDA of 8.5x.

It mentions a 'vape take back scheme' which would be a simple but effective solution to all the litter created by disposable vapes.

then simply don't sell them to underage users. That tackles 2 of the bigger problems.

The 3rd is one of recycling. Perhaps the manufacturers could make some headway there too.
