If we do have a mild recession later in the year / early 2024 I should imagine supreme will weather it v well. Lighting and batteries are largely recession proof, and now the whiplash effects on the lighting side are fading, we should expect to see a bounce back to the 170-190 range within the next 12-24 months. The story by end year will be strong. Good revenue growth driven by vaping, stable income from the well established cash generators (lighting and batteries), and hopefully all moved in to the new warehouse facility.

and well deserved too!!!

being in the industary you meet all sorts of company leaders and the nicest ones are normally the best ones as they win over there team to do things over and beyond

Yes, I have used Sealions vitamins for over a year now. Very good and very cheap.

Gummies seem to be a good way to increase sales. Smaller amounts (30 to 60 day pouches) at the same price point (5 pound) should help drive further growth through more regular purchases. These gummies are branded and manufactured in-house. Solid growth here expected.

Agreed. UPGS is possibly a better company in my view, although they had a post-IPO warning themselves and took a while to recover. Anyway, I really like both companies as they both have unique business models run by an intelligent fanatic founder.

UPGS are a brand owner and rejuvenator, often buying heritage brands for close to zero and relaunching them.
SUP have a vertically integrated distribution platform model for fast moving consumer goods.

On balance I prefer UPGS, but its close.

Founder led companies with at least a decade or two of growth to come!
I have doubled up my Supreme position as the share price is close to a golden cross. Always a tad dangerous going early, but I am confident long-term in Sandy Chadha.

I see a valuation anamoly with UPGS here. Different sectors yes, and UPGS did not announce a profit warning, but strange how SUP is not joining the bounce. Thoughts anyone?

got another delivery of red Astaire today - have vaped it exclusively for the past 8 years or so - they come with a tiny pack of tic-tacs (4) since SUP took over - nice touch - and there's a T-Juice reward system now :-)

They're a cool pineapple shape. Very optimistic about Sealions as a long term growing offering

I haven't looked into the details so might be completely off track but Luceco - positive update earlier - might bode well for SUP lighting figures

I hardly see any smokers anymore but very telling and evident when you go to a working class area - smoking is still quite high
