01/11/2016 08:07 | This will be Marcus's first presentation to shareholders and it would be surprising if a person of his experience and reputation did not bring greater clarity and items for shareholders to chew on. | corguv
31/10/2016 22:01 | I don't give a fig whether there is an update on Altentepe this week or not. What I do know is that Marcus Englebrecht is in a different league to Bob Foster & Co. This company has been transformed by this appointment.. For sure the money will be coming from Altentepe soon, when it does the amount may take a few by surprise in a positive way. | observer007
31/10/2016 21:32 | If he says nothing about Altintepe expect a major tumble in the SP | juju44
31/10/2016 21:29 | Even without news it would be quite enlightening to know how Marcus sees things developing and hearing his plans for the future direction of the company. If there is no news beforehand I would expect him to lay his cards on the table and say precisely what is happening at Altintepe. There needs to be a lot more clarity and more measurable milestones from now on. This will attract new shareholders in droves imho. | charles clore
31/10/2016 19:38 | Surely there will be news tomorrow or Wednesday, we are certainly due some!!!Plus if not he won't have an awful lot to be positive about.... | laptop15
31/10/2016 19:06 | There was no stock on offer at the close. I wonder if there will be news before the presentation Thursday? | tadtech
31/10/2016 19:01 | Silence is golden... | charles clore
31/10/2016 17:10 | It's quiet,too quiet!! :)) | goldenshare888
29/10/2016 09:07 | Yawn. What a bore this share is | juju44
29/10/2016 08:48 | okay so looking through the RNS for this year and the Stratex website, it seems they did do some drilling in Djibouti in Q2 on which we have heard nothing, so there is still a chance of some imminent drill results there. Currently the second of the Thani drill campaigns is underway in Egypt, which looks like an extension of work done by Thani Ashanti in previous years. Presumably they see value there to keep plugging at it. So I would expect some news on Djibouti soon on previously undrilled land and Egypt extension drilling news in a few months. | danieldruff2
28/10/2016 18:59 | FBI reopening case against Hilliary so gold jumps. Good old Hilliary saves the day | juju44
28/10/2016 18:38 | Gold bouncing nicely this evening. Someone dumped best part of a million today, took the wind out of the sails | steve1905
28/10/2016 13:14 | The JV company owns and runs the mine and collects the money. Bahar gets a contract fee for the actual mining. | georgesorrow
28/10/2016 12:46 | Where can we read more info about the JV company? | flavio_monteiro
28/10/2016 12:43 | Thanks Sicilian, so the JV company have been paying Bahar the running costs of the mine so far? | flavio_monteiro
28/10/2016 12:40 | Bahar won't pay as they don't hold the money. The JV company holds the money and will make the dividend payments to both Bahar and Stratex. | sicilian_kan
28/10/2016 12:15 | What if Bahar dont give over any money | juju44
28/10/2016 12:07 | I only care about the production and the money to come in, this is what will create value when ever they decide to tell the market or if they do. | tailor1
28/10/2016 11:48 | juju - Bahar will never pay anything to Stratex. | charles clore
28/10/2016 11:44 | I guess that limits what Marcus can say next week. No drilling results likely from Thani before the end of the year, Goldstone hobbled by prior director claim, Dalafin dodo. He can only really talk about Altintepe and perhaps hint if he will cut loose some of Bob's poor investments. Be an interesting statement of direction. | danieldruff2
28/10/2016 11:38 | I've often wondered if the delays in Djibouti are more to do with graft and bureaucracy than Thani Stratex management. I remember Bob saying it is almost impossible to get anything done in Djibouti. Djibouti is down there with Ethiopia in the sump tank of the corruption indices. I also see that the drilling rig notice says Thani Stratex, Egypt. | georgesorrow |
