Tad - thanks for the update, much appreciated. As far as we know production is still in progress at the rate of almost 40k oz gold p.a. and as of 11th August the cash generated stood at $33m which means the underlying value for shareholders is developing very nicely. Should things develop the way we hope and expect, with cash being released to Stratex, we will soon be very happy bunnies.

Had a brief reply from the company, very much along the lines of the recent podcast.

There is no doubt in my mind the new CEO, Marcus Engelbrecht, is making a very serious commitment to Stratex. Marcus is an overseas resident and is moving to the UK to take the position. He would not be doing that without serious intent in my considered opinion!

As per the podcast, the new CEO is evaluating all of Stratex's project's/assets at this time, he has visited the gold mine in Turkey and has spoken to Bahar, there is another meeting planned shortly.

Note the next presentation is on 3rd November, only a few weeks away!

I seriously believe that Stratex will be a much changed entity shortly, the market has been starved of news but this will change.

Interesting times ahead!

Presentations like this are a good time to release positive news flow in front of potential investors. I guess we can only cross our fingers and hope there is good news.

The old crew probably don't know what Twitter is and likely have to ask the receptionist to send email for them or print out their incoming mail :D The fax machine gets a decent amount of use though. (Even most of it is spam).

I doubt this will have been arranged without there being some significant progress / news / better information being released beforehand.

So that is what I am expecting this month.
