Certain investors I spoke with this week are aware of Stratex, noted that the share price has not really moved much this year in a pretty upbeat sector.

For a number of reasons that may be about to change!

It would have been prudent and proper to sort out the forward costs prior to production as part of the fs Tad, otherwise how do they know if anyone is going to make a bean. But that's the past and hopefully with a new boss with a proven track record of success we can look forward to a more business like approach in the future.

Have attended a number of presentations in London this week and am hearing some good things about Stratex. It does look like some change has been forced on them, possibly by a major shareholder.

New CEO Marcus Engelbrecht will be in London on the 3rd November to do the presentation in Mayfair. I had that confirmed. I would expect some news beforehand, possibly on Altentepe, the mine has generated $33m in H1 so by now we could be closing in on $45m-$50m.

What has become clear to me, after a discussion I had with a Project Manager, is that Bahar and Stratex have acted prudently and properly in respect of sorting out forward costs. Next step is revenue sharing, this is what we are all waiting for. I expect Stratex to receive a healthy delivery of cash shortly.

There is optimism at last and the shares could re-rate on improving sentiment alone.

he discovered one of the Stratex crew - just one? I wouldn't be surprised if they were spending more time on GRL skulduggery than anything else. Let's face it what else is for them to meddle with given STI projects appear dormant and Altintepe is just a waiting game.

On yesterday's RNS I'm thinking he discovered one of the Stratex crew was working for Goldstone for nothing and has decided to charge them for it, which would be a start to running a business properly!
