25/10/2016 09:43 | Yes you are right juju of course, hopefully with the right news that will come. | soulsauce
25/10/2016 09:27 | Low volume is never reliable. I would like to see it climbing on big volume | juju44
25/10/2016 09:24 | What is pleasing is that this is going up on low volume. Hopefully if it is a turnaround story and some good news hits we can get back up to 4p pretty rapidly. | soulsauce
25/10/2016 09:19 | Hall overdue to join Bob out in the pasture. They always were overpaid disasters | juju44
25/10/2016 09:15 | No question, a new non-exec Chairman would boost confidence further after Chris Hall's disasterous performances. | corguv
25/10/2016 09:15 | Funny isn't it all the folks who were ramping this on no substance earlier in the year are now gone when there is finally something worth being cheerful about. Oh the irony. | shoggoth
25/10/2016 09:07 | Just imagine the markets reaction if Chris hall gets the boot. | shoggoth
25/10/2016 09:02 | Faith or Fact ? We have a new sound CEO with proven business acumen. | corguv
25/10/2016 08:52 | Most gratifying to see this on the march again. Well done to all that are holding the faith. | longshanks
25/10/2016 08:50 | LOL This wants to go higher.... I am waiting for 10p again, a mere 4 bagger from here. 2017 hopefully...... | goldenshare888
25/10/2016 08:37 | So, I say again to the fwit that sold 300k yesterday at 2.03 - you sir are a fully fledged fool :-)If you want to give money away just give it to charity? | shortarm
25/10/2016 08:36 | Is this TURKEY going FREE-RANGE?! :)) | goldenshare888
24/10/2016 16:39 | Is that a 434k buy gone through this afternoon ? Long time since we've seen such a confident buy as that made. | exbiz
24/10/2016 16:11 | romeike, an interesting article, thanks. It is "By JOANNE HART FOR THE MAIL ON SUNDAY PUBLISHED: 23:09, 27 April 2013 | UPDATED: 23:09, 27 April 2013" so an interesting bit of history for our new MD which is encouraging. In my view Archipelago Resources in 2013 and Stratex in 2016 are very different situations, but still nice to see a positive piece. Let's hope Engelbrecht is a safe pair of hands if nothing else. | blobby
24/10/2016 14:11 | Here is a relevant article "##http##://www.this | romeike
24/10/2016 13:59 | I think the fact that in a prior post the new CEO introduced a dividend based on at least 10% revenue is worth considering. Stratex' current set up lends it towards being able to at the very least return value to shareholders in a similar way while retaining more than sufficient income for pursuing its strategy. In addition, I would not be surprised to see STI as part of a much larger organisation within the next couple of years whether by merger or acquisition. | romeike
24/10/2016 13:54 | Except that there was zero value attributed to it old boy :-) | shortarm
24/10/2016 13:41 | Stratex paid 15c a share for Tembo fundraising in 2013, current fundraising is at 5c a share, not great. | danieldruff2
24/10/2016 13:36 | Interesting that Tembo Gold (Stratex owns 13%) has raised $750k at market price and is about to start drilling in Tanzania again. Their press release shows outstanding grades (20+ g/t) from the 2014 programme. They also talk open pit production, there are nearby processing facilities etc. So we now have Goldstone, Thani and Tembo on field operations + Altentepe producing of course. Exciting times, very much looking forward to the presentation next Thursday. | tadtech
24/10/2016 13:14 | Thanks exbiz. Just checking I hadn't missed something important. | blobby
24/10/2016 11:39 | Just basing my opinion on having someone with a serious business record behind them who I believe stands a far greater chance of organising our myriad of projects in a way that can prove beneficial to us shareholders. I did say last week that I don't personally expect any real news until next year. I think he needs 6 months to get on top of the mess he's been handed at Alt, GRL, Dalafin and the ThaniStratex partnership. That's not to say we won't get any news as ThaniStratex should be due to report on drilling results by now but I think he will need some time to get abreast of the Alt negotiations and assert his will and likewise with GRL. But I like the fact that he hasn't rushed out with some media sound bites just to let everyone know he's on board. I think he is just getting on with the job in hand of reorganising the business in order to generate revenue and succeed. At least I bloody well hope so. | exbiz
24/10/2016 11:24 | Hi exbiz, "This is beginning to have the semblance of a serious business and not a geologists homework project." I hope you are right but can you back that statement up at all? So far I've just seen an announcement on 1 September of a new CEO. Nothing else that I am aware of indicates any other change at all. Apart from the issue of more share options, we have had no updates worth mentioning. | blobby
24/10/2016 11:15 | With regard to the Mayfair gig, is this something Stratex has attended each year, or is the connection more with Marcus? | romeike
24/10/2016 10:57 | I'm sure the buying is in anticipation of Marcus' first presentation next week and I think that the market will take far greater notice to what he says that to Bob's waffle of jam tomorrow every time he spoke. This is beginning to have the semblance of a serious business and not a geologists homework project. I expect progress to be sustained in the long term now and the share price to rise along with it. | exbiz
24/10/2016 10:47 | There is very little stock about now. If this continues the market makers will have no choice but to raise the price in order to attract sellers. The price might prove difficult to contain as people are catching on to the fact that big news could be on the way and dont want to part with their stock now. | charles clore |
