Stratex presenting in Mayfair on 3rd November, first one by the new CEO.

One hopes, by then, we will have the long awaited news on Altentepe cash distribution and some idea on the way ahead re the other projects.

Yes your right Charles, I'm sure it will be good news when it comes! Plus new CEO a big plus with his proven track record :))I'm sure he will want to start positively even if he is bidding his time. Hopefully he is more proactive with news flow and has a flare for marketing the company a lot better. The big problem is that it's kind of unknown at the moment so the main thing will be to change that and bring in more investors. Good news will certainly help!Maybe someone should suggest setting up a twitter account for starters, cheap and has a big gathering!Anyway I'm still confident of a good turnaround story here :)))

Agreed Romeike. All we have to do is sit here and patiently wait for the profit distribution news. When it comes its a given the share price will respond accordingly. Of course, not everyone will have the staying power.

Economists claim this and yet I recall the last December rate hike and how it spelled doom for gold, at the time at barely over $1,000/ounce. Within 3 months gold was at $1,2680/ounce.

Seriously weakening Sterling on one hand
but on the other hand we have talk of a
December hike in US interest rates and tapering QE which is not gold friendly.

Possible. Payments to STI likely in local currency of the JV I would think. Though a strong USD ought to be providing a tailwind where revenue is in USD and costs local currency, however it could hit demand so stability is probably preferable longer term.

Marcus got the CEO job on first September
he looks a clever fellow and will take time and research before rushing to announcements. First gold pour at Altintepe was early November 2015, so I
guess we may get clarification from there,
to start a fresh news flow?
