Just checked Stockopedia and they forecast 4p for 2021

No, I don't expect that - if you look at the accounts and read the messages on here you will see a few of us have been predicting a rise(s) in the annual dividend given the excellent cash flow and decreasing (near zero) debt position of the business.

I think this is a rise to a 4p total annual dividend.

Any thoughts that this may mean reducing the final to 2p to keep total divi the same?

Great news - 'stepping' up dividends, as predicted (excuse the pun!)..

Just as we foresaw and said would likely occur, very good news indeed. Construction and engineering works in Kazakhstan continue uninterrupted and the weather remains very good.

3p, plus per share 2020 dividend firmly in the bag, if not more, probably will also be an interim this year, fingers crossed, there would have been for last year, but for the pandemic induced caution....

Just re-read the 3rd quarter numbers. Looking very positive for the full year and I'd suggest that divi is locked in again. Kenge a little weaker against the pound compared to this time last year, which is a negative, but less debt these days to the positive side

Hopefully there might also be an interim dividend this year for the first time ever, also of course due to the fabulous structure all dividends are paid to shareholders without deductions of withholding taxes at source too since Steppe is a Labuan company tax free

There's risk with any stock you buy IMV,,,,,,,,,risky times for investors. so a company that pays such a good yield is worth my investment and will hold unless the story changes DYOR

I think the Kaz location puts everyone off....pure gut reaction and even do any reasearch on it.

It put me off....till i did some reasearch.

At this price...my guess is they will be taken out......and in the mean time I get 10%.....happy days.

Im still amazed how few have cottoned on to this yet, another years 10%+ divi looks locked in at current sp, its a bit ironic that a Kazakh company is one of the best value plays around

Has to be seen as one of the safest highest dividend paying stocks listed on the LSE. When its rolling stock become a net earner, what is the company going to do with all its cash?

The fact STCM managed to pay down $7m in debt, pay a 3p dividend (costing just under $9m) and still increase the cash at bank indicates that with debt now close to zero ($2m as at end August) we could well be shortly seeing a progressive increase(s) in the dividend?

Operating cash flow of $11m in the 1st (traditionally weaker) half of the year more than covers the current 3p dividend.

Cheshire Man, absolutely yet the vast majority will not even of heard of Steppe, as there's very little coverage of this stock, so it flies under most radars.

If the company continues on its current path making very healthy profits, soon to be debt free with solid free cash flow, whist paying an unbelievable 13% divi, at some stage todays share price will look ridiculously cheap.
