26/5/2021 13:58 | Ok guys.....take your points on fair value, etc. But....I am interested in today....why today. I have been caught in several sharp sell-offs in the past....and it usually ment bad news was on the way. | 11_percent
26/5/2021 12:59 | Given the pullback, who's tempted to top up? I'll certainly be in for a few as and when. | farnesbarnes
26/5/2021 12:44 | I was v close to selling half my holding around 53p, just because I figured it would pull back, but I didn't. Why, I don't know. Fair value is closer to £1 here. Stocks never just level off after a good rise, they always dip back to test 'support' levels, or whatever. Look at JLP, ORPH as 2 recent examples. Both pulled back from highs, but still in good uptrends. Same here. | king suarez
26/5/2021 12:39 | Yes it is very frustrating/annoying KS, happens on the majority of stocks that i hold. | fozzie
26/5/2021 12:36 | Because people stopped buying and pushing the price up. This is what seems to happen with every stock after a good rise, regardless of fair market value - as soon as the rise stalls for a while - people sell. Just (market) psychology imo. I will make a bold prediction - we drift down to around 45p now, with a small up-tick on annual results, then a further consolidation period, then a slow gradual grind upwards. | king suarez
26/5/2021 12:31 | Why is everyone selling. | 11_percent
26/5/2021 07:43 | How's everyday life? No Borat-esque misconceptions there... | farnesbarnes
25/5/2021 14:32 | wilo, what are you doing there? how's everyday life ? | starpukka
24/5/2021 10:57 | Will visit the plant and mines, too, shortly. All going well it seems. | wilo101
24/5/2021 10:20 | wilo, are you based in Kazakhstan? | eggbaconandbubble
24/5/2021 09:51 | The Kazakh economy is bouncing back very, very nicely and the free-of-charge mass vaccination programme is well underway and easy and simple, unlike the British system one can just turn up at many of the centres and of any age group and be vaccinated then and there, within 15-minutes and little formality.....there is also an Ashiq App system where one's Covid-19 status can be checked on line....all very sophisticated and simple...should all bowed well for the company and its business and there is now a hive of construction activity as the snow has gone and it is really warming up.... | wilo101
16/5/2021 11:13 | Jim lad - bang on mate! If anyone's bored waiting for the results, why don't they create some and post them on here? We can then compare with the actual ones later!!! | eggbaconandbubble
16/5/2021 10:35 | jimmladd1, Well spotted. You can actually go back a lot further if so inclined and so it would appear to be a standard throw away line in the prelims every year. Pretty poor really given how great the company is in every other respect. So June it is then. | gary1966
16/5/2021 10:06 | It will be June, then July, look at the dates of the actual announcements made by RNS in each of the last few years, always the same. | wilo101
16/5/2021 09:54 | Bizarrely, they have said that in at least the last 4 years Jan prelims I have looked at...that.... final results to be published in April... but never happens. | jimmladd1
16/5/2021 08:22 | wilo101, From the preliminary announcement on the 11th Jan: The full results and audited accounts denominated in USD are expected to be published in April 2021. Hence why news is imminent and not looking like it is following last years timescales. I did contact the company just over a week ago but have heard nothing sadly. | gary1966
16/5/2021 04:56 | Look at last year's dates, next news not until June and July, as per last year's timing, will be the same this. | wilo101
14/5/2021 07:41 | Assuming the US$ continues on its trajectory downwards, at some point the Tenge will start to rise strongly against it & those prior glory days at £2 & £3 may well come back here.We should also be in for a sustained period of strong cement prices off the back of global infrastructure stimulus.I believe Steppe Cement a very sensible and attractive investment proposal for several years ahead & the divi should continue to grow. Not one for trading, imo | mattjos
13/5/2021 16:32 | very positive signals here imo with the share price consolidating well above the 50p mark & good daily volumes in an erratic market pending full prelims and divi announcement. | elpirata
12/5/2021 10:38 | Dividend declaration tomorrow perhaps, due soon I think | return_of_the_apeman
06/5/2021 15:02 | Might be a large buy order in as the max available to buy online is just 99shrs (that's not a typo) | return_of_the_apeman
06/5/2021 09:44 | It's been a long, painful road, when it was listed at £0.35p per share relatively quickly moved all the way to £4.20p peak trade, doubt we will ever see that again, were then 115m shares in issue, so not much dilution since, save for the 3 rescue rights issues the 4 key stakeholders all underwrote, to get debt to zero today, having invested Euros350m in the two new dry-lines.... | wilo101
06/5/2021 09:40 | 7½ year price high today | mattjos |
