Extensions of Sierra Leone Transaction Longstop date and Guinea Disposal Exclusivity Period

Stellar Diamonds plc, the London listed diamond development company focused on West Africa, announces that it has agreed with Octea Mining to extend the longstop date (for the satisfaction of certain of the conditions precedent of the binding Tribute Mining and Revenue Agreements in relation to the Tongo-Tonguma mine development project in Sierra Leone, as defined in the announcement dated 28 April 2017) to 31 August 2017.

Furthermore, Stellar is in discussions with BDG Capital regarding an extension to the exclusivity period related to the disposal of Stellar's Guinea projects and assets to allow for completion of the remaining project and financial due diligence tasks and drafting of the required Share Purchase Agreement. Further details will be announced in due course.

Large buy at over 6p. My guess is that some news must be out about Stella that has not yet been RNS'd.

I am concerned over the 14 day delay to the deal being concluded. The RNS did not spell out the precise issues that caused the delay.

The directors have sold an asset for 2m and are now only concentrating on their best project. The director also put his own money in at 7.4p. This bodes well and is the best long term investment on aim.
Anyone deramping is just paid to do so. As this is what goes on before the big RNS hits.

Almost 10p was paid not so long back. Looks like the buyer who just paid 5.3p is either a long termer or just in it for a quick 50%+.

After all the fall was just basically the MM screwing people over for their stop losses.
