01/6/2020 07:28 | There has been a big buy of GGP, not all the ask filled, discussed on their forum. SVE lags, but one can take advantage of that. | rose_by_another_name
29/5/2020 18:02 | I think their investment in Ariana Resources is about to do very well with some important news due over the next few months. | plasybryn
28/5/2020 08:24 | "Net Asset Value which has increased from GBP2.25m as at 30 Sept 2019 to GBP4.66m as at 31 March 2020 an increase of more than 100%." "Earnings per share 4.53 pence" | rose_by_another_name
23/5/2020 02:41 | Yes, meant well, autocorrect | come on
22/5/2020 15:24 | Autocorrupt is a hazard. I would turn it off. | rose_by_another_name
22/5/2020 15:20 | Probably meant to be well but autocorrect did it's usual thing! | zedder
22/5/2020 15:19 | Didn't understand that. AAU is up today. Is that what you mean? | rose_by_another_name
22/5/2020 15:19 | Yes they are. The 17.5m holding is worth about 1.25p of the NAV/Share of SVE which is currently approx 14.6p. | zedder
22/5/2020 14:23 | AAU going week today | come on
20/5/2020 23:48 | Something I've just spotted in this years AGM documentation is this: 6. That the Company be and is hereby generally and unconditionally authorised for the purposes of section 701 of the Companies Act 2006 to make market purchases (within the meaning of section 693(4) of that Act) of ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company (“ordinary share”) provided that: (a) the maximum number of ordinary shares that may be purchased is 5,592,783 representing approximately 10 percent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company as at 11th February 2020. (b) the minimum price that may be paid for an ordinary share is 1 pence. (c) the maximum price that may be paid for an ordinary share is an amount equal to 105% of the average of the middle-market prices shown in the quotation for an ordinary share as derived from the London Stock Exchange Daily Official List for the five business days immediately preceding the day on which the ordinary share is contracted to be purchased; So maybe they plan to buy back shares using the money raised from the recent sale of 3m GGP shares which I believe raised £225k+. 2m shares at 9p would be £180k. | zedder
20/5/2020 20:49 | I'm certainly sticking with my 1m now until whatever end game between GGP and Newcrest plays out. | zedder
20/5/2020 19:06 | Sorry Zedders now read your earlier post, you still hold a million!!! I darent risk that many, although if I can ever get back in below 7p I might be tempted. | yorkie52
20/5/2020 19:02 | Have you any left Zedders? Over the years I've generally lost out until recently. I made a quick profit on ggp selling at 8.9p a few weeks ago and put the money into sve.I reckon I now own about 500000 shares in GBP by holding 300000 in sve. I think I will hold until ggp gets bought out by Newcrest which I think is the most likely scenario. Time will tell but I think it's a good investment. Maybe wrong. Who knows. | yorkie52
20/5/2020 09:58 | My sells were as follows: 13th May 50k @ 7.55p 18th May 50k @ 8.105p 18th May 60k @ 8.175p 19th May 40k @ 8.22p 19th May 50k @ 8.27p 20th May 100k @ 8.26p 20th May 100k @ 8.3p 20th May 100k @ 8.3p Profit banked was £26.7k. | zedder
20/5/2020 09:37 | IG has the buy price for SVE higher than that of GGP, first time for awhile. edit- short lived, now back to evens. | rose_by_another_name
20/5/2020 09:31 | Somebody must have a large buy order in? I've been gradually reducing my holding over the last week or so. The plan was to get from 1.55m shares to 1.0m which I've now done. Have sold 3 x 100k batches today and got 8.26p on the first and then 8.3p on the second and third. Hopefully the wife will stop nagging me about taking too much risk now!! | zedder
19/5/2020 12:01 | A few million more added to the number of GGP shares in issue. | rose_by_another_name
18/5/2020 13:47 | NAV is 15.3p/share with GGP at 9.2p and AAU at 3.9p. 82m GGP shares worth 13.2p/share of that 17.5m AAU worth 1.2p/share. | zedder
18/5/2020 08:11 | GGP up, AAU up and CORA up. All add more value to SVE. Hopefully we will see the benefit here soon as well. | zedder
15/5/2020 14:28 | NAV is 14.6p/share with GGP at 8.9p and AAU at 3.4p. | zedder
15/5/2020 10:16 | People don't get it. I have tried explaining to a few GGP enthusiasts, but deaf ears. They talk about the spread being too wide. I made a few thousand on a quick in and out in GGP, but this is the one I'm holding. | rose_by_another_name
15/5/2020 09:16 | Well with ggp and aau, this should be a lot higher | come on
14/5/2020 12:36 | More takeover talk on the GGP forum. | rose_by_another_name
13/5/2020 19:02 | Good point RBAN, I forget to allow for the fact there are 57m SVE shares but they hold 82m GGP shares so times 1.4 as you say! | zedder
13/5/2020 16:01 | Times 1.4. | rose_by_another_name |
