I got some clarification on shares in lieu of Director Fees.

In April 2020 the shares covered Callum for Q2 2019 and Q3 2019, and Gemma for Q4 2019 and Q1 2020.

The latest issue covers Callum for Q4 2019, Q1 2020 and Q2 2020, and Gemma for Q2 2020.

Looking at the last couple of Annual Reports the annual Director Fees have been £80k for Callum and £40k for Gemma.

It's great that they are taking shares in lieu of cash.

My only remaining issue is that they sold 3m GGP shares for which I reckon they should have got at least £225k, yet in the last report they were down to £60k cash. After using some to cover other admin costs, I am assuming some has been invested elsewhere, but as usual it's very hard to determine where.

Not much at all. They bought 19m KEFI shares in a placing at 3p, but after a 1:17 share consolidation I assume they now have 1.117m. Which is worth £17.5k of a NAV currently of just under £11m or approx 19.1p/share.

Money for old rope and paid twice. I'd like to know what they do for their money?

So just got round to doing the sums:

Callum received £38k in shares in April 2020 supposedly for Director Fees for Q2, Q3 and Q4 2019 plus Q1 2020. Gemma received £9050.

Now Callum will receive £53k in shares in July 2020 supposedly for Director Fees Q4 2019 and Q1, Q2 2020. Gemma will receive £9000.

11.5p is today's mid price. They could almost
buy for that. Don't see the point of "issuing"
them. Someone mis-spoke.

So today's RNS states that shares will be issued to Callum Baxter and Gemma Cryan at 11.5p in lieu of fees for Q4 2019 and Q1, Q2 2020.

However, an RNS on 6th April 2020 stated that shares had been issued to Callum Baxter and Gemma Cryan at 4.25p in lieu of fees for Q2, Q3, and Q4 2019 and Q1 2020.

Something smells a bit iffy here!

Alan, although I hold I don't think its that clear cut as to how it will pan out in the end. There will be profit if it works regarding GGP but not as much as some seem to think, I will retain my holdings here and see what happens I could be surprised. :-)Zoo

I bought SVE to get 1.4 times as much GGP
for the same money, plus other gold producers
thrown in. And SVE actually has earnings.

Disadvantages are wider spread and less
trading activity, but if you intend to hold
rather than dip in and out, that's less of
an issue.

Would you buy here over GGP and why?

Kefi moving up, ive bought in again here today, just a small stake as discount to Nav is going to get silly soon.

With AAU at 3.9p and GGP at 12.5p, that puts the NAV/share bang on 20p.

Didn't expect that RNS to be within an hour of my post! Looks like a bit more of the cash they raised from selling 3m GGP has gone on running costs compared to what I'd allowed. The significant discount is still evident though.

Forgot to give a NAV/share estimate for the end of June; I reckon 19.3p. I'm expecting an RNS soon.

They ought to buy more AAU. Been a long term holder, but the future is now looking very locked in in my opinion.

I guess they may sell a small amount occasionally to pay salaries or when they see good opportunities elsewhere.
