It sure is. The latest position:

17.5m AAU at 6.0p worth £1.03m or 1.79p/share.
82m GGP at 17.3p worth £14.18m or 24.6p/share.

Overall portfolio worth approx £15.65m, or 27.2p/share.
Mkt Cap is only £8.06m.

Why the hell they aren't selling a few GGP and buying back their own shares to close the value gap!

Massively undervalued

SVE should be higher, based on NAV, but
historically it lags behind. I'm waiting
for the big payout when GGP/Newcrest
resolve their association.

Excellent results at ggp today, sve should be higher than ggp
pence wise, so expecting a good run to 20p now myself.

Very few trades. I reckon this is a good
play to get in on the eventual payout to
GGP, but not much action until then.

Surely these will start to play catch up soon

14.25p would be a 45% discount so not far off.Looking at the respective accounts they seem to have changed to a smaller outfit auditor wise.

Discount must be close to 50% now.

Committed to a special dividend I think,
and buybacks, should there be a windfall.
Ooop- late on parade again.

Their stated aim is to return up to 50% of any cash they receive (eg from a cash buyout of GGP) to shareholders as a special dividend.

It would be interesting to see what they'd do with the remaining cash. That would be a hell of lot of investments of £25k to £50k to find in other small companies.

Personally I'd be happy if it was put into some sort of gold fund/ETF or gold royalty company (eg Sandstorm gold).

Does SVE have any mechanism for returning funds to shareholders? I remember looking at it years ago and not proceeding, but to everything there is a season

I did the same some time ago and swapped GGP for SVE. I am currently running a few positions in AAU though as I can see that getting to 8p+. I previously touted 6p+ on AAU some months back and its just hitting that now.

AAU - very well run company. They have been paying off a loan that got the initial mine in Turkey up and running. I believe that loan has either just been or is about to be paid off completely. That will make them cash rich going forward although they seem to be about to about to repeat the process with a second mine. Can easily see the share price getting to 6p+ eventually.

Topped up here earlier, prefer sve to ggp, myself but have both.

Will increase much further when I receive my hgm funds.

At 16.5p, the 82m GGP holding alone is worth 23.5p/share.

NAV/share currently approx 26.1p/share.

Not the only concern. SVE has a yield and PE
ratio, Primorius does not earn, let alone
pay dividends. Still, they are up 10% today
as I post.

The only concern with PRIM is the true value of their other investments...GGP great; everything else an unknown quantity.

SVE far better than PRIM. Also PRIM tweets a little amateur/cavalier.

SVE moves nicely, bigger investment spread, but PRIM is left behind IMO on the GGP rise (aside from its other investments)....DYOR etc, but have bought more PRIM than SvE.

With AAU at 5.6p and GGP at 15.7p, NAV/share is 24.9p (a new high). The AAU holding will go through £1m with one more tick up there.

Mkt Cap is £7.2m yet the value of the portfolio is £14.35m.

Still a massive discount here. Any buys below 13.5p are at a 45% discount!
