Yet still only on a forward P/E of around 10.5. Think the fundamentals should see SGI move further ahead over next two weeks. Mo :0)

nurdin thought you might like to read something pre results. Its an old one from June last year, so I've only pasted the relevant points.

The case for online stamp auctions has been made by Ebay, where stamps are the third most popular commodity sold. Gibbons believes that it can use its specialised expertise and interlinked web sites to compete effectively with Ebay. For example, Gibbons offers a service whereby not only will it act as the trusted recipient of both stamps and money, to ensure that both parties deliver, but Gibbons will also verify the authenticity of the stamp, a critical service where high-value stamp counterfeiting is common.

How it works

Potentially millions of enthusiasts can now register with stampsatauction.com, and enter their stamp collections for auction. stampsatauction.com creates a single, global marketplace, and the site is a world first.

Stamps on the web

allworldstamps.com is nothing short of a comprehensive listing of all the world's stamps, while stampsatauction is the big-concept site, aiming to be the central, global market for buyers and sellers of stamps.

Despite the complexity of having possibly millions of collectors logging on, buying and uploading details of stamps for sale, Paul Fraser is totally confident: "Stanley Gibbons leads the market in collectable stamps, and in serving customers."

Global explosion

Paul Fraser clearly believes that the collectables market is about to explode on the internet. "The internet is able to make the market dynamic in a way that wasn't possible before. Prices are absolutely up to date – on the Stanley Gibbons site they are updated every hour – and it's simply mind-boggling what can be done."

(Think there is the possibility that at some point in the future Ebay will pounce on SGI. Mo.)

Yep - VCP, MBY, CKN and SGI all with massive growth and low P/E's. Makes you wonder what the press and brokers look for when issuing statements these days. A lot of catching up to do in all these stocks.

Just think, after the end of feb all brokers and the press will be showing the stock as trading on a multiple of 10x or less ..and another 70% eps growth to boot! Those who are selling need to look ahead a bit...in fact little over 2 weeks!

Bringing results forward even if only by a week, is usually a very good sign IMO. Looking forward to results and a positive outlook. Nice one nurdin. Mo.

Nice to see it breaking the 60p wall...Should soon break free of that also...Been a long ride since the 12p days..Well the worth the wait, though I have sold some on the way regretabley as the money has not been used well (to date), I regret to say but with this looking to out perform the damage done elsewhere..I am very happy.

I try to stay on thread big dave but as you ask, yes, us Gooners are very happy at the moment - Henry is fantastic and I'd say that if he played for Man U. I try to really enjoy his stuff every time I see him play - he has something I've never seen before. ZZ's a bit special but they are different players. Shame your lot sold Beckham - as much as I have to 'hate' Man U Bex was special and its a shame we are not watching him in the Prem. I think if Magnier gets an U they trey to get him back to appease the crowd but whether he'd want to come back with no Fergie I don't know. I think Chelsea will be after him too. What's going on there - why do M&M want to take it over and get rid of the best manger this country has probably ever seen (until Wenger finishes his career anyway)?

Sort the defence out will ya :-)

SGI - yep, I'd say there is probably more in these than HRN just because of the undervalued assets an PE and smaller market cap. I'm following Nurdin a lot here tho so he's your best man I'd say.

With hindsight would SGI have made it onto your 1 bagger (100%) thread?
Thinking of switching from HRN into SGI, seems much more upside here.
Oh and by the way, why do you never mention the gooners on this board.
Die hard MUFC, but respect goes out to M. Henri
