50% is enough for me, so right or wrong - bye for now. Hi Chester, we seem to be buying the same stocks - hope you bt SEY, or in the cheap way through FOG - still offered @ 40p , equiv to 11.43p.

Okay, missed this but look at VCP and MBY - both as cheap or cheaper imo -

This is not a tech penny now chester..It has a solid business backing and world wide growth going for it on a low cost basis. No hype here.

Thanks Don. I do have sharescope but the Data Mining I find hard to get my head round. I much prefer to go for the 'steady' long termers, like Clarkson, rather than the tech 'pennies' which are obviously having their day presently.

And I couldn't even factor in low gearing, EPS growth rate, enterprise value, and cash flow.......which all add to the SGI fundies picture.

Yes - holding VCP and BBC and consider them both deadly cheap.

SGI definitely in that ilk imo.

Chester,
Basically the fantasist's mix of lowish p/e, low peg, decent profit, decent ratio of profit to turnover, and positive broker consensus.....It also came up with companies like BBC, PSN and VCP, as the guys on this BB will not be surprised to hear. I think several of us are into the same stocks. BBC and VCP have been fantastic investments for me, but I was already in them enough so I went for SGI.

Anyone remember AMR? I think SGI has the potential to make that seem distinctly average. The chart is following similar themes but a lot more explosive on SGI's part.

Don - Well done for getting in early on these. I'd be interested to hear of what details you put into the Sharescope Data Mining to bring this one up.

Thanks.

Isn't it a good feeling when you do your homework and it pays off? As I said in my post of Nov 18th on the other thread: "Using Sharescope's data-mining facility, came up with these....look ready for sustained growth to me...nice hedge in today's market...charts look very promising. Bought in today as LTH."
Well, that paid for Sharescope for a few years! Forgive the Hamlet moment chaps....doesn't happen all the time, promise! Just can't avoid a smile on this one. Plenty more to go yet; plenty.

Nice, and not before time - still think there's plenty more before and on the results.

Did you buy Alf?

quite right. The current price will look seriously cheap when they announce their results first week in March!

As CR said a few days ago. Any company that can grow earnings 70% this year and next deserves to be on a P/E of at least 14. That gives us a share price around 80p. Still more to come!

I bought some this morning at 47p and again at 48p. I am amazed the effect that these purchases have had on the price. Bags of potential for further increase IMHO.
