24/1/2024 09:47 | They would be better off with 25% less revenue but 2% Ebit margin. They need to raise prices / increase the markup on the resources. | dealy
24/1/2024 09:38 | Directors buying ain’t going to help. The market has decided the figures are stagnant so no growth. The only thing will help is sellers are exhausted and rise from nothing. Are we close to that yet. I’m not sure because it keeps falling as sellers bail for other opportunities. I wish I could see value buyers but no sign of that. At 1% margins you have to question to true prospects and as an investor it feels wrong to say it’s a disaster but in reality it truly is | tia01
24/1/2024 08:47 | NOTE.... the directors may be unable to buy ... | the imperialist
24/1/2024 08:43 | NOTE…. the absence of directors buying … | gripfit
24/1/2024 07:43 | Maybe their strategy is to become the market leader? A bit like Cloud Computing. They're dragging in big business, big business are decommissioning they on-premise IT capability, big business are becoming 100% reliant on the cloud...... You won't be running a virtual machine in the cloud for $1 per annum for much longer. | the imperialist
24/1/2024 07:27 | Cash I didn’t watch it this time as the results was bad enough for me. The best we can hope for is a bounce on no news because the share price had been eroded enough. Then a takeover. I’m actually struggling to see why Henry Spain has mopped up so many shares. Even if a takeover came I wonder what the price would truly be given the margins!. The board are hoping market sentiment changes by 2025 as it’s clear year on years fundamentals are literally static | tia01
23/1/2024 23:02 | Did you watch the presentation? One of the impressions I was left with was that they are hoping to get through 2024 and hope 2025 will be the year they do better. If I've misunderstood that, do tell me as I occasionally hear one thing and understand another. | casholaa
23/1/2024 22:34 | The board should be ashamed. I’m sure they’ve taken a more than inflation pay rise while the profit margins are merely 1%. No improvement until 2025 and new line facility to be negotiated soon. Thank the lord interest may fall other rhe 1% would turn into a loss. As an investor I think it looks cheap on 1 billion turnover but in reality it’s not improving any metrics year on year. We know a recession looming and downturn in 2024! That bodes well for our board. They’ll have an excuse next time! | tia01
23/1/2024 22:27 | Cash It’s a disaster. 1% margins is literally just ticking over to pay the bills. The boards wages Is probably more than the 1% | tia01
23/1/2024 21:07 | What inflation?? The cost of calls and electricity and leases?? | casholaa
23/1/2024 20:53 | Surely taking inflation into account there’s no margin in reality. Just my opinion as an investor the company have just tried to keep revenue up and totally forgot margins. In every other industry inflation has caused a significant rise and been passed on. Taxi drivers charging twice as much since lockdown but Petrol has significantly fallen. Honestly 1% margins sends a message it just about staying afloat. Never raised more at 50p over subscribed capital raise and board should be shuck up. It actually simply shocking | tia01
23/1/2024 17:39 | @triskelion the presentation is on the youtube link. I found it amusing to watch and listen to. Yep. I think they alluded to things staying like this until 2025...??? 'Organic' was banded about -if we wanted 'organic' we'd have invested in allotments! @tia we always knew their margins were s.hite, we've been referring to the low margins for about a year, but I really did think that they would try to address them, instead the presentation left me with the fantasy that the margins are low to maintain competitiveness (cough) | casholaa
23/1/2024 17:21 | 1% margins is criminal | tia01
23/1/2024 17:13 | Wondering if I'm reading the same RNS as some others. -vs- 2022 Revenue +1.1% - not anywhere even near inflation Gross Profit -2.1% Underlying operating profit -15.8% etc No obvious upside in prospects. | triskelion
23/1/2024 15:40 | I'm not sure whether to unload at a circa 12-13% loss or to just hold for the next 2 years. The view that I have is that they were jolly pleased with themselves that things didn't go south. The interest cap that they have ends in October this year and I suspect that they are hoping that inflation comes down... but, of course, margins won't increase unless inflation goes negative. I'd welcome a further buyback at these prices over a tiny divi or nothing at all. | casholaa
23/1/2024 15:29 | Ceo says sharebuy backs was good value .. lol | gripfit
23/1/2024 14:15 | ...at 27:30 they aren't looking to increase margins in medium term | casholaa
23/1/2024 13:35 | It’s a dead duck ,, the management are dillusional imho ..but you can’t help but admire the excitement they have in their presentations .. | gripfit
23/1/2024 12:57 | I can not think of another company that has an Ebit margin of 1% on a steady state basis. If they have 1% bad debt, there would be no margin at all. if anything is delivered badly or incorrectly, then again, there is no margin at all. ..Surely they can do something to improve the Ebit margin | dealy
