Good news for Spire with the on-going NHS contract and a well deserved bonus for all their hard working staff, Well done everyone.

A very encouraging update to brighten up a miserable day on the broader markets.

Good luck everybody, please keep safe, Sid.

Good to see a positive response in the share price, from the NHS contract statement yesterday.

Now the 140p band has been put behind us, hopefully we can continue to push forward.

Good luck everybody. Sid.

With the upcoming cancellation of non urgent procedures in the NHS due to covid

I would expect to see more demand for the services that are offered by the private healthcare system

This is not showing in the share price which continues to languish in the doldrums

Wake up expect interest to develop as to possible takeover as demand will not decrease anytime soon

Anthony Bourne is a non-exec director of Spire and TLY(Totally Plc). I think he will be promoting both.

TLY, through their Insourcing division(THC), use hospitals to reduce hospital waiting lists in UK & Ireland.

Last 3 yrs:
period revenue, cash, profit/loss
2018 £42m, £10.2m, £0.2m
2019 £78m, £7.5m, £1.1m
2020 £105m, £8.9m, £4m

Gross margins up and they pay dividends.
Mcap £31m

TLY report interims on Monday. There's also an Investor Presentation on Monday

A welcome bump in the share price - JP Morgan note with a slight increase in target price to 137 (although remaining neutral) the only influence I can see/find.

The article in the Times is what has been holding this share back in my opinion
I am grateful for the opportunity to load up at what I think is a great price
This pandemic is not going to go away any time soon
My simple minded view is that we the NHS is overwhelmed by the resurgence in covid cases more private healthcare input will be required
I do not think this has been factored into the share price as is evident in my opinion to date

What's going on here today then, it's certainly taken off from the opening?

The price has been very perky the last couple of months or more, but today's rise looks as if something's about to happen?

Good luck everyone, Sid.
