14/3/2020 15:44 | Labour and GMB calling for the Gov't to use the 8000 empty beds in private hospitals to ease pressure on nhs. Not sure if this good or bad news for Spire if it happens but no doubt there will be compensation. In the circumstances it is a no brainer, saving lifes is the no 1 priority. | rogerrail
13/3/2020 08:12 | Covid support offered to nhs | p winky
12/3/2020 23:48 | The new NHS Health Minister is 100% for technology to replace doctors wherever possible Covid-19 is set to close many GP's surgeries It will also infect many Hospitals and NHS staff Lessons will be learnt re separate ICU's away from main hospitals AI and computer programs and AP's will be accelerated after Covid-19 passes to replace manpower wherever possible This IMO will include AE's where Covid-19 will also create havoc Covid-19 will be followed by other coronaviruses More seperate ICU's with equipment that helps treat viral pneumonia, septic shock and sepsis , which such pneumonia causes , will be needed dyor | buywell3
06/3/2020 10:16 | Mkts behaving like headless chickens with a fox in the coup, sell everything and think about it later. If all the nhs beds are taken up with Covid patients, where are people who desperately need an operation going to go....?Spire | rogerrail
02/3/2020 13:33 | TLY under pressure too.... Mkts not favourable, even health sector which might be v. much in demand soon... Sold out here a while ago. | napoleon 14th
02/3/2020 12:41 | Don't get the drop for sure? With a likely spill over from an already over burdened NHS's inability to deal with the inevitable Convid 19 outbreak - I would have expected the slack or at least some will fall on the likes of Spire? which seems like a potential demand increase and they won't do it for free! | kron76
24/2/2020 16:18 | Seems to have been worked over, harder than most today. | 2bad knees
18/2/2020 15:35 | Results out in just over 2 weeks, heres hoping for another re-rate on good results.. 145p | greenstreet1
18/2/2020 15:34 | With all these articles solely about Spire surgeons, I cant help but feel that someone is trying to discredit the company. Medical negligence or claims of a similar nature are as rife as personal injury claims with law firms out to make a profit searching relentlessly for any potential clients. NHS has same problem. Share price holding regardless atm. | greenstreet1
17/2/2020 12:46 | omg he cut someones gonads off | onjohn
17/2/2020 12:15 | Yet another Spire surgeon on the sharp end of the lawyers' pointy stick | analyst
11/2/2020 17:37 | Another 4m shares traded on Monday 10th. Probably Norges again. Need them to be out and clear so we can go back up! | boonkoh
30/1/2020 11:35 | Indeed ... it is said that bad events come in three's- so will same hospital get a third rogue doctor.... hopefully not.Wonder if nhs will still keep referring patients to that particular hospital as that might leave them wide open to action against them if a 'third' did appear... Pity as the food at that particular hospital very good - treatment good - rooms not outstanding but reasonable ( yes - have had experience with inpatient at that particular hospital)... | livewireplus
30/1/2020 10:54 | I've sold as well, I saw it in the news last week. This will cause alot of problems with SPI and extra cost. | igoe104
30/1/2020 09:25 | Been here two years, with nothing doing, and now this I'm out. | windsor430
17/1/2020 14:06 | Tick-up, offer now looks to be over 143p and spread narrows. Buyer...? Edit: Looks more like an agreed exchange price at 139-141 | paradores
17/1/2020 11:36 | Great minds Boonie ;) | paradores
17/1/2020 10:17 | This will soar once Norges finish selling down its stake. | boonkoh
16/1/2020 09:49 | Becoming evident that operationally the team is delivering. To see debt come down like this in a relatively short consolidation period is indicative of good mgt practice. £2 targets for interims 1H20 not onerous. Boonie, agree - the momentum will build, but there are boots-to-be-filled ;) and a few shorts to close first. Re-rate will happen/continue, all in good time. | paradores
16/1/2020 09:46 | Yes, that sounds nice and positive to me, with a lovely increase in volume as well. It will be interesting to see what happens later in the day, especially when the American markets are in full swing. The first target is to see another attempt at the recent high of 145.0p and then a close above 143.3p. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
16/1/2020 08:27 | The key for me is "positive momentum" bit. Looks like Spire is out of the doldrums and we should see increasing broker forecasts over the next 12 months and good trading statements to come. | boonkoh
16/1/2020 07:57 | ‘Performance £2+ broker targets will follow. Sub £1.50 buy price clear LT upside | paradores
16/1/2020 07:52 | Good trading statement, the company is now right direction. | igoe104
08/1/2020 18:17 | Cheers Sid - Right back at you! :o) Goes without saying, next few sessions should be interesting. Someone’s been in the market pretty aggressively I’d say. | paradores |
