Hi Aishah, you'd be comfortable if they were standing you at virtually nil cost, as mine are. Don't get me wrong I'd be crying like a baby if we had a black swan event here and the shares tanked, it would still hurt. Very confident in my holding here, held for a long time and hope to hold for a lot longer.

@fozzie, that's some weight of your PF. Good luck but not something I'd be comfortable with at all.

Spectra Systems Corporation

("Spectra" or the "Company")

Five year Optical Materials Supply Contract

This announcement contains inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of Regulation 596/2014.

Spectra Systems Corporation, a leader in machine-readable high speed banknote authentication, brand protection technologies, and gaming security software, is delighted to announce that it has entered into a five year contract extension with an existing optical materials customer, one of the largest suppliers of security inks for the banknote industry.

The contract has a minimum value of $3.2MM over 5 years commencing April 2020 and secures Spectra's revenues for this component of optical materials used in banknotes.

Dr. Nabil Lawandy, Chief Executive Officer, stated: "We are delighted to have executed this contract which secures the use of our phoshour materials in some of the world's leading banknotes. This contract, along with other recent service and sensor development contracts further underpins our revenues and earnings visibility going forward."

I just rang HL and they confirmed that the withholding tax is not applicable to SIPP dividends so I'll get the full amount.

There is no 15% in a SIPP. I have had all dividends paid gross into my SIPP but only after shouting both years they did deduct 15% at first

15% is always deducted no matter that you have a W8-Ben form, deductions are made in ISA and Sipp alike.

Shanklin, I'm with HSBC with my (inc ISA) holdings here, and unfortunately the 15% was deducted last year and previous years.

Does the 15% US withholding tax on the SPSY dividend apply to ISAs but not SIPPs please? That is what happened in terms of my SOM dividends.

Well nico...I was watching this trend lower with a view to adding to my position. However, you were as perceptive as ever & stole in at 127.5p this morning 😥

Managed to add 25k today but had to pay up at 135p for the last 10k. Well done... but at the end of the day it just looks excellent value down here in the immediate aftermath of yet another “upgrade”; with shares only having moved up a touch.

As you mentioned, so many different kickers to further explosive growth here. Sure, not all will come off but the core business is doing well & I’m sure Dr Lawandy will pull a few more rabbits out the hat!

Kind regards,
GHF
