No reaction to the AGM yet!!

Gaming Insight PLC
15 April 2005

GAMING INSIGHT PLC

RESULTS OF EGM

Further to the announcement made on 22 March, the Company announces that the
resolutions put to members at a class meeting of holders of Deferred Shares and
an extraordinary meeting of members held at 08.15 and 08.30 this morning were
passed.

The Company's name changes to Asia Capital plc from today.

Following the approval of the reorganisation, more particularly described in the
circular to members dated 22 March (the 'Reorganisation'), those members holding
existing ordinary shares of 1p will, following the Reorganisation, hold one
tenth of that number of new ordinary shares of 1p ('New Ordinary Shares')
together with nine Deferred Shares of 0.1p ('New Deferred Shares'). The existing
deferred shares and the New Deferred Shares created as part of the subdivision
may, in due course, be repurchased by the Company and cancelled.

New share certificates will be issued in respect of the Reorganisation and
existing share certificates for ordinary shares will therefore be valueless.

Its worth a punt, 500k can be picked up for little over £1300 and with a small mkt cap of 600k this has the potential to really advance quickly and if they are consolidated 500k will become 50k and price around 2.5p and alot more liquid. Its a gamble but limited downside, i.e £1300 loss or massive upside. DYOR but 500k for me thats all for now.

I thought this line looked interesting. At least it looks like there were options to choose from.

"The company has had discussions with a number of parties. Discussions are now at a sufficiently advanced stage at which the proposals can be put to you"

Agree with you regarding it being a punt. I took 500,000 the other day. See what happens.

Cheers and good luck.

They have already realised they arent going to get hold of an established gaming company because valuations have gone thru the roof, so they want to widen the scope of businesses they could invest in!!

Immediately.

I spoke to a director the other day.
I understand the resolutions MUST be passed, or there is nothing left.

Nigel Robertson, the chairman and major shareholder, and his mate have a lot to lose and have also put in another million quid in loans to keep the company going to this point.

What worries me, is they will raise money very cheap from themeselves, make an aquisition and then nick it for themselves on the cheap.

Im in recently for a small amount as a punt. If you are a long term holder from much higher prices I think you can forget about ever getting your money back. You might like to take a punt at this price to recoup some, or you might be better off getting out and forgetting about it!

Hi
Extract from the circular dated 22nd March 05
"The company has had discussions with a number of parties. Didcussions are now at a sufficiently advanced at which stage the proposals can be put to you"

Proposals
1) Change Business Strategy of the company
2) A capital reorganisation
3) Rename the company to Asia Capital PLC.

Capital reorganisation of the shares. The bottom line is that if you currently hold 50000 you will end up holding 5000. Ten new shares od 0.1p each for one new ordinary.

"The directors are of the view that, if the proposals are not approved, the prospects for the company are bleak." Directors hold 13.26 of the shares. The company expect to raise not less than £500k.

In my opinion as an outright speculation have appeal.

its probably a waste of time attending as they will have enough votes to carry most things they want to do.

Email catherinebond@seymourpierce.com and see if she can help.

She told me she would put me in touch with Nigel Robertson the chairman.

But Ive heard didnt squat so far!!

I asked a similar question in 510 but got nowhere. I've heard nothing from GIN. There seems to be an opinion that holding an EGM at 0830 is designed to keep the ordinary punters away ie its too early. all we can wait for (if we don't attemd ) is the subsequent RNS

Whatever it turns out to be it is worth a punt and I expect next week to be filled with more excitement and strong volume. This could easily reach .75p short term.

party poker is owned by a couple of indians, given the problems they are having with their float maybe they will decide to reverse their billion pound company into GIN!!! ;)

Daily Express Sat 9th April 2005.
" A spike in Gaming Insights share price renewed speculation that it is close to announcing a deal that will take it into the Asian Gaming market. Shares rose .7 to .29p."

Looks like this could fly next week.

John Ives

I encourage you to read the RTakenO Cambrian Oil and Gas thread, previously Silvermine Media SLV headed by Kanabar and Smit Barry. A similar story may develop for GIN. Natural resources sector is very hot and anything with India, China and Asia in its name attract attention.

I have confidence in Kanabar, good brain and have connections such as the Robertson brothers and Smit Barry. These newcomers/stars are not keen on underhanded dealings and are honourable in my strong opinion (also no reason nor evidence to have prompted me to think otherwise). In fact, I feel the forthcoming EGM will bring good news; probably a brilliant deal/deals to reverse the fortune for the investors!

What a difference a year makes! Referring to GIN having sold the gaming biz a year too early! Inexperienced hands Robertson-Kanabar were then, but 12 mths toiling in the market will have made them far more astute and cleverer than most. Just be patient! I am cheering you all and will stick around and watch the developments!

John, I understand your story of accumulating such a heavy loss. This, I find common with recovery stocks. Never know when the recovery will come? Market also is extra unkind to recovering stocks! I have read somebody who said," Never average down on a declining share price but will top up on an advancing one." With much discipline, I have learnt to accept the wisdom in these words.

Oh, I think you need to edit your message: That the pair do have a good reputation on RTO; not the "don't" you used
