04/1/2005 16:09 | All these movements are on very small volume i must say - which, as ever, with a stock like this, reflects sentiment rather than fundamentals. Rarely is stock in excess of £10k traded in any day with GIN. Personally, I'm still looking for the light switch. :) 1610: up 21% so far today - that's serious! | oxford blue

23/12/2004 13:41 | its an INDIAN COMPANY and they may have plenty cash in the Bank..the listing must be worth a lot to them and I can see the share price going to a minimum of 2p for starters. Nigel Riobertson know what he is doing because he has done it several times already. | sagem

23/12/2004 12:04 | I think that we'd all be happy if this one got moving again but whether or not it goes bananas we'll see. The fact remains that there are nearly a billion shares out there and the company will have to raise money unless the newco to reverse in is in good shape already. Needless to say that in order to reverse in the newco will want something back so who's going to give them a lump of stock? I'm guessing that the founding shareholders won't have too much left themselves following the numerous dilutions so I guess it might just need a new issue. We can all of course play the percentage game and look to make 25% on a pure punt whilst the downside is limited. They wont close this one down because there's no overhead to pay any more and the Chairman seems willing to keep it going on the basis of a bank guarantee. They dont have to do anything with it for a very long time anyway. For this one to raise any significant cash against a price down here will mean an almost doubling of the shares in circulation which seems like a ridiculous dilution meaning that the price can't really go to anything significant. There are 840,000,000 shares out there (approx) according to the last accounts so that gives this shell a paper equity value of just over 2.5 million quid. If say this newco had a paper value of £20 million quid, they'd want that much equity in the company so you'd have to give them at least that amount of stock. If they did that then there would be almost 7 billion shares and if we assumed a generous valuation of say £30 million for the whole listing then the stock could only be worth 0.4 pence anyway. Don't get me wrong, I've got a good few of these myself and I wish it back to sensible levels but I just can't see it. Can anybody offer any reason why it should go to anything better than a penny? Thanks BB | battery boy
