... and a 10% reduction today, including an amazing 35.7% spread! This ludicrous company looks ever more ludicrous ... but I'm still in :)

Sunday Times article came out on 19th Sept, but the move from the low had started on Sept 1st.
So the speculation was well in place before.
Indeed the only large trading took place on Sept 1st, 2nd and 14th.
Nothing much to speak of since.....
One of the large shareholders is Lansdowne Partners Ltd. Check out some of their success stories, and you would wonder why on earth they are retaining a large holding in this supposedly 'worthless' company.
Those guys are supposed to be vultures, not idiots!

The following article is from the Sunday Times 19th sept.

It might explain some of the recent speculation...

last paragraph reads...

"Meanwhile, Robertson continues to seek a business to inject into Gaming Insight, the former internet betting company.
The AIM-listed firm has been a rare failure for Robertson, who made his original fortune when he sold Freepages. "

But GIN owes £1M doesn't it???

Things certainly seem pretty bad for the company.
But there is a recent chart move suggesting at least the possibility of a move upwards.
Anyone out there who can comment on this?

Hold on - Geoff Foster (of Daily Mail fame), on his review of his great share tip of 2003, said that GIN was going to emerge from suspension with some big deals and an acquisition.

What happened Geoffrey? You should stick to playing with Bungle and Zippy!

Marked up 15% this morning - mainly through the offer, but seems a bit strange with all the selling so far this week.

Oops, getting my shell companies mixed up. A halfpenny would do quite frankly. But there does seem to be a market in this old dog for the first time in six months or so, so I am ever hopeful.

Apparently c.1.5m in the bank as reprted at the end of July. What I want to know is, who would shell out (no pun int.) £50k on 25m shares as reported at 1630 last night unless they were either about to be sectioned or knew something was in the pipeline?
