20/12/2004 19:35 | Looking at the big holders you'd think that if they were holding a dog, they would sell eagerly into strength. It may of course be that they would end up swamping the market with sells. However, it may also be that they are 'holding their horses' because there is an expectation of greater value in the future. I haven't yet seen an analysis based on for example the worth of the company based on 2 areas: - accumulated losses to set against future profits - value as an already-listed company Folk expect a visible story to be already in place! This is logoically not possible, as the price would already have risen... (Pretty obvious, yet so many potential investors can't understand the principle of taking on exceptional risk by paying next to nothing for a share). We are left with a highly speculative propostion. It's a visit to the poker table - win or lose a bit of your shirt! | fishman
20/12/2004 14:38 | "Blue Star Capital is a newly established company created with the aim of providing initial seed capital for the development of early stage companies. - Nigel Robertson Executive Chairman, Blue Star Capital plc Nigel Robertson is currently non-executive chairman of Gaming Insight plc, Reflexion Cosmetics plc and a non-executive director of Spiritel plc. He is the former chief executive of scoot.com plc, formerly Freepages Group plc, of which he was the founder." Would this not give him the additional funds he needs for an aquisition? | pay2click
20/12/2004 14:35 | "Outlook We are continuing to look at suitable opportunities for acquisitions and the future of the Company is dependent on its ability to successfully complete an acquisition and raise additional funds that may be required as part of an acquisition. Nigel Robertson Chairman 30 September 2004" Maybe the recent activity suggests that this has happened? | pay2click
19/12/2004 22:28 | HELLO OXFORD BLUE... I think that Nigel Robertson is organising some big deal in the back ground. The volumes of shares traded is picking up - somebody in the City knows something we do not know as usual. Nigel Robertson as been pumping cash into GIN to keep it afloat he certainly would not do that if he thought he could not pull of something very worthwhile, or he is working on something very worthwhile in my opinion. We will just have to waite and see but just keep looking at the volumes. | sagem
18/12/2004 11:27 | Hello Sagem: could you substantiate your anticipation and hope, please? Thanks. | oxford blue

13/12/2004 23:39 | And yet no fall in price. The MMs could easily have sold that large a block at below .23 or even movedthe bid down. Movements in this stock are highly unconventional and hard to predict. Is there anyone out there? ... | oxford blue

07/12/2004 20:39 | NOT ENOUGH VOLUME FOR ANY RUMOUR AS YET. | sagem
05/12/2004 11:37 | Well, the narrowing of the spread has seen an effective drop of the bid from .26 to .20 (c 30%!). Given that Nige and Haresh have been quite active of late, wouldn't GIN have figured in their plans by now? I wrote to Charless Russell's Simon Gilbert who replied saying that they have nothing on in respect of GIN at the moment. Any other rumours or noises ... ? | oxford blue
