12/2/2024 10:51 | The last RNS 8-2-2024, here -Statement re Share Price MovementSondrel (AIM:SND), a leading provider of ultra-complex chips for leading global technology brands, notes the movement in its share price and recent press speculation.Sondrel remains one of only a few companies capable of designing and supplying higher-spec, complex chips built on the most advanced semiconductor technologies, and the Group's customer base continues to include leading global technology brands. The Company remains encouraged that demand for Sondrel's ASIC services, including in the US, remains strong and that the Group continues to trade in line with current market expectations with a number of new ASIC business opportunities at advanced stages of negotiation. The Group does not comment on the identity of customers."Sounded all positive to me. No words of caution, "we know of no reason" etc, just bullishness. We know there are financial difficulties over cashflow, however the words not used in the statement suggest to me that these will be well on their wayStrong BuyRE: Funding/ valuation of British Tech companiesToday 10:14If for instance neuralink was to take a stake this goes to 50p in minutesIt would seem Sondrel has too an important product to failria20Posts: 7,494Price: 13.50No OpinionGreat startToday 09:38For STAR and SND this morning ....great to see... are we going to bag today | bmwman3

12/2/2024 09:34 | previously announced, and with a view to managing Group liquidity, negotiations are underway with suppliers to improve the terms of existing supply arrangements, and these are ongoing. The Group also announced that it will need to secure additional capital prior to the end of March 2024 to provide a more permanent solution to meet the Company's short-term working capital requirements, and that, if the payments associated with the automotive project are not received in January and February 2024, this will need to be secured in shorter order. This position remains unchanged. | mally6

09/2/2024 12:48 | 100% agree with the sale if no response to an email from a shareholder. I would do exactly the same. The company has no idea of your potential investment appetite and don't even have the sense to pass on to their advisors to deal with. | slicethepie
09/2/2024 11:53 | I bought a small position on a "get to know them better basis". And this concern then arose - I did email them asking if I could drop in. Got a v late read receipt, but no response - which prompted my sale. Gopher - I wasn't suggesting Mercedes would take in house. Presumably when SND acted as a design house, the customer would then contract directly with the manufacturer? What's the incentive for Mercedes et al to change this to a model where SND act as a middle man? Greatly increasing the disruption risk. | garbetklb

09/2/2024 11:50 | Congratulations was an obvious one must admit Elon musk bought a chip in the past years ago he probably bought some milk from Asda sometime in his life as well so what | mally6
09/2/2024 10:55 | I have to ask why did you buy them in the first place if you had all these reservations about their business model? I have had this on a watch list along with Ensilica since float but have had concerns about their finances. herald inv trust bought them at float albeit a small position for them and they understand this industry. | slicethepie
09/2/2024 10:34 | Likewise re ownership experience but think Mercedes etc are usually happy to outsource this speciality providing the company is financially sound and growing. In house speciality teams are not usually the way to go. | gopher
09/2/2024 10:09 | How's my short doing you may askVery well mr Bridger very well Funny how people will slander me if I get a short position wrong but no congratulations when I was more than right Wait for 6p | firestarter1 |
