24/7/2024 16:42 | My biggest losing stock, ironically in an area that I know a lot about and hence the prospect of investing was exciting given the macro trends (note to self on that one). It just feels like poor quality management (who delays an annual report, especially a poor quality one at that ?). Risk profile management around customer concentration not great either. Downside of AIM listings I guess. It's a duff, but my return would be so low that I may as well write it off and hang in on the hope I might get something material back vs. a low quality dinner at a third rate pub (analogy intended). | ![]() randomscot24
19/7/2024 11:08 | Exactly and that was the last half decent opportunity to exit, nothing new in yesterday’s announcement other than quantifying the mess the company was in but that should have been obvious to anyone reading this thread and RNS together. Still took a painful loss here but out at 20p. I can’t believe there is much joy in holding as a private company, a return to the market is only one of a number of exit routes for PE and Sondrell won’t be fixed quickly. | ![]() gopher

16/7/2024 08:56 | 18th July for trading resumption | ![]() thiopia
24/6/2024 16:56 | Seems every week I get an alert on Sondrel. This time delay in annual report and hence suspension of trading, with 'sometime in July'. I realise that the new funding has impacted things, but I'm struggling to see how that could really delay an annual report being published. Am I missing something ? | ![]() randomscot24
19/6/2024 16:24 | USA Seniconductor index SOX is up a whopping 34% just since April!!Sondrels customers will all be doing incredibly well. Sondrel in limbo & has missed all this strength in the Sleepy or dopey!) UK markets!Solid future for companies like Sondrel when run well by new & competent business managers now in place ?? | ![]() source

05/6/2024 22:53 | Even if we get AimF these may come back at a much higher rating especially if on Nasdaq! ROX are HQd in the USA so potential is massive | ![]() parvez
23/5/2024 13:36 | I read somewhere they will decide in next 6 months after the agm however one never knows. Think about it though ROX as a private equity firm buys 48% at 10p is a no brainer if one is a long term holder. | ![]() parvez
23/5/2024 11:28 | Is going private absolutely set in stone? D | ![]() dennisbergkamp
23/5/2024 10:11 | Absolutely if the Company wasnt going private share price would probably be around 20p | ![]() john henry
23/5/2024 09:12 | I reckon going private is keeping the price down at the moment. | ![]() aspect100
23/5/2024 07:24 | Smart move by ROX. Even if they take them private, they will either float back at a massively higher valuation or be acquired by one of the big boys. Separately the results from nvidia today just shows how massive this industry will be for the future. Either publicly floated or privately held, one is buying below the 10p ROX are paying and is a no brainer. One to lock away imho. DYOR, etc. | ![]() parvez
22/5/2024 13:13 | Yes another smash & grab on AIM (like many others recently). Sondrel is a real standout though & why I will be holding through. It's simply preposterous down here considering what it's got & bulging order books etc. now decent management is fixing the stupidity this thing will rocket (even if private)...Plenty of other players will be seeing this too and why this may still surprise imo. | ![]() source
22/5/2024 12:10 | Source its such a shame that the company is going private. I would certainly invest if SND was to remain public. | ![]() john henry
22/5/2024 07:31 | "..... During this period, David has successfully implemented key elements of our transformation plan and, thanks to his hard work, the Group is now on a stable footing. John has a long track record of delivering positive results for stakeholders and his wealth of experience will be invaluable."==>> "...Group is now on a stable footing...."Sondrels Order Book should start to gain a lot of attention now then. This will be a massive change for the company's fortunes if it starts to be properly valued again... | ![]() source
14/5/2024 18:29 | What's the advantage of going private and how can you sell them in the future in that case and at a price that reflects the prospects? | ![]() everready1
14/5/2024 18:13 | Thanks For replies | ![]() everready1
14/5/2024 16:56 | Orderly exit will be at 10 pence But I’ve a sneaky feeling we won’t be If we were to be, I’m staying put ! Going private has its merits | ![]() washingmachine
14/5/2024 16:53 | Delisting is someway off. Check out REDX who are/were delisting - price went up as the CEO was snapping up stock before delisting (!) I believe however DYOR. I expect the same here IMHO | ![]() parvez
14/5/2024 16:21 | when will they delist or do they plan to quote elsewhere? | ![]() everready1
14/5/2024 15:31 | In the circular it states if they delist: "an orderly exit for those shareholders who do not wish to hold shares in a private company environment" How does that work? | ![]() aspect100
14/5/2024 08:39 | "...it has conditionally raised gross proceeds of £5,625,400 pursuant to a subscription by ROX Equity Partners Limited for 56,254,000 New Ordinary Shares at the Issue Price of 10 pence per New Ordinary Share...."==>> Sondrels complete market capitalisation is still only £3.7m!....Almost £2m LESS than cash it now has & it just got that cash at the promised 10p per share. Lots can happen as it's still so massively undervalued AND it still seems a very attractive business with growing order books. Let's see if others see the steal by Rox. | ![]() source |
