But still no funds until a site visit and due diligence is completed.I think a placing is better than 12% in this current environment and I'd love to see the penalty for non payment of the funds if they actually ever get to see the funds......

I don't see how the MMs can hold this down...vast majority of bargains being done between 27.35 and 28, despite quote of 26.55/28...most buys being done at or over the offer price...

Anyone see L2?

Not surprisingly Nasdaq you have shown yourself to be graceless...

I'm certain that "90%" of people on here who got it wrong would have held their hands up and posted an encouraging word or two...

Here are your own recent assertive statements:

4 May

"The webinar is waffle designed to facilitate a placing imo and they’ve been trying to get this away over the past 2 months. They know time is running out and there are lots of hurdles to overcome which is why they are trying to get the share price higher, they won’t be the first company to do this and they certainly wont be the last."

7 May

"To me its obvious he is struggling to raise funds, everyone else on here apart from DD is too emotionally involved to see what is going on and sees every ray of light NM or Hoffmaier throw out as the holy grail.
Comments like financiers are throwing money at us and the market doesn't understand how big this is ........are just desperate PR stunts to hold the price up"

7 May...the very best...!

"They need 150m quickly, non binding off take rns aren’t going to raise anything.
NM is going to have to do a placing and institutions arent going to pay silly amounts when they dont need to."

7 May

"NM know this his silly off take rns and pr webinars have managed to pump the price to a reasonable level"

7 May

"Now it’s give them the weekend and see what happens Monday, next week it will be it’s almost done and meanwhile the share price which has risen on all the hot air spouted on boards like this will deflate...."

" "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"

lefrene. Of course there's been dilution. - at the level of the project. It's the same for shareholders, wherever it occurs. But where there are other projects, you can say THEY haven't been diluted at shareholder level..

Phat - get it right I wasn't bitten by SXX I got others out . I don't invest in potential duds. I observe them - and the lemmings who pile into them. Because I'm interested in investor psychology and investor knowledge. But I'm particularly interested in broker puffery.

The problem Solgold have is the CR i think most countries are going back too soon and without a vacine i believe it will no doubt come back big time .

I also do not like the markets .. have we all gone mad .. prices back to pre virus levels ..

I have taken most monies off the table and will sit back and wait to see how the CV goes in the coming months .

There's been no dilution, $100 million gets Solg past the Bankable feasibility study, and money to drill a couple of the more promising prospects. The fact that they've raised substantial money in the midst of the greatest banking crash in history speaks volumes about the future prospects. They have set course to raise the $2.85 billion to mine Alpala, the potential predators have not shut up shop and gone away. The dance goes on.

The issue with you DD is that you don’t take into account the copper shortage the world will have post-2022 and you’re looking at copper prices today in the middle of a pandemic...
Open your eyes. Invest in SOLG. You won’t be bitten like you were on SXX.
We are not SXX. We have demand for our product. SXX needed more finance and not enough bidders willing to fork up.

PS- deal on gold only ? If you believe it is gold that will compensate for copper weakness, the deal takes away a bigger proportion of the profit as time goes on.

NasD I've always thought nothing clear about value to shareholders until the DFS at least, and what the true outlook is for copper after covid. And also funding for exploration. Meanwhile the share is for traders.

Lol ikn = I know nothing.

This is a wonderful deal Based on 1% of Net Streaming Revenues ON THE GOLD ONLY. It’s a binding agreement and guarantees FrancoNevada a minimum return in the event of takeover in the near term.

This will increase the profile of SOLG as an up and coming major and they are doing the due diligence on $1bn of mining cost funding. After Covid-19 we expect to get more bids to fund the remaining $1.7bn, which won’t be an issue.

This is the time to hold and let the share price reach 45-60p again, if you sell you are a lost case.

Dozy

Some posters have gambled too much hence their bitterness.
What are your views on the funding, it seems quite desperate to me.......
Even lowtrawler whose views are pretty realistic is even being attacked fir being too conservative.
12% interest rate, plus other add ons and repaid in 4 months doesnt seem a great deal to me....

DozyDuck:

Views on Franco being on board?
Views on The agreement?
Views on Cornerstone being fluckd?

Better than SXX 🤣

The Canadians will buy into SOLG and help the re-rate “if” Franco Nevada issue an RNS in the Canadian Market. More exposure.

Top up whilst you can Cz this one is a gonner within 4 months.
