15/4/2020 07:07 | Hardly a profit warning: Commenting on the trading update and the short-term outlook, Gary Marsh, Chief Executive commented: "We are very happy with the performance of the business in the past year and consider that it demonstrates the cash generative nature of the business model despite the macroeconomic and political uncertainties which became defining characteristics of the period. | this_is_me
15/4/2020 06:45 | Profit warning the Group is experiencing softness in the demand for batteries for the commercial aerospace market and in computing products for certain niche applications in the industrial sector. Separately, owing to the fall in oil prices, we are currently experiencing lower levels of orders for battery packs from the oil and gas industry. | onjohn
15/4/2020 06:14 | Confirmation of no serious problems this morning. | this_is_me
30/3/2020 06:34 | It all looks really good considering the present virus situation. | this_is_me
30/3/2020 06:29 | Stock has historically been held at high levels to limit exposure to supply chain volatility and enable Solid State to fulfil customer needs confidently. At this point, the Group holds approximately 2.5 months' stock. This has proved advantageous in the recent months, giving the Group additional comfort against potential supply chain disruption. Encouragingly, the Asian supply chain is now starting to return to more normal levels. | tole
22/3/2020 19:09 | An updated statement on how staff are coping, their changed working practices, supplier difficulties etc. is available on the website. 'It is – as far as possible – business as usual'.. Their supplier network is clearly quite badly disrupted though stock levels are described as 'good'. | shrout
19/3/2020 17:39 | It's on their websitehxxps://www.s | tole
19/3/2020 12:31 | Nice to see a bit of a recovery after the last few days drop on low volume .. had forgotten what it was like seeing a share actually going up. | tole
18/3/2020 13:35 | That was from there website right.. 12th March...obviously if they released a statement to the market I am sure it would have a greater effect on the price. | tole
18/3/2020 12:53 | This has been hit a lot harder than most.. Last statement from the company re Covid-19 was 6 days ago.. 'To date we have seen no impact on supplies. We have contacted all factories and the majority are now running at approximately 80% capacity. We have not been notified of any expected or intended cancellations of our order book and we still have healthy buffer stocks on most key devices. As our business model dictates, we overstocked in anticipation of the Chinese New Year and are still able to supply from these buffers.' An awful lot has happened since then. Another update would not go amiss.. silence just generates fear. | shrout
18/2/2020 08:58 | component shortages will impact here | albanyvillas
18/2/2020 08:57 | On most days this month there has been a regular batch of relatively chunky trades after hours, specifically those at 17:15, anything from 1 to 5 such trades on most days. The pattern is interesting - Is someone accumulating or merely adjusting portfolios? On 12th Feb alone the quantity was 192500 or about 2.25% of the issue. A holdings announcement before long would not surprise. | boadicea
04/2/2020 05:41 | How much of their stuff is made in China to be assembled in the uk? The distribution side I gusss it could be a lot and impact the supply chain | middlesboroughfc
03/2/2020 23:25 | Always gives me comfort to see flaky, uninformed twitter investors announce sells due to general market nervousness. Recent falls nothing to worry about imo | edpick
03/2/2020 13:19 | Just bought for the first time (2100 shares). A very interesting company. Agree that the atmosphere in the market (coronavirus etc.) is having an effect on PI's sentiments but this gives a good opportunity for an entry point. | fuji99
03/2/2020 12:50 | Probably just general nervousness, but it looks as if we might be on a journey back to 500p to see if support holds there. | boadicea
03/2/2020 09:54 | Unless there is some chatter on an impending poor update | hatfullofsky
03/2/2020 09:37 | I may have been a little quick on the top up button there. Possible hit on orders from China ? I'm not aware of any other news | hatfullofsky
03/2/2020 09:36 | What's going on here? Over 15% drop last two trading days... | johndoe23
