I bought in on Friday on the news of the acquisition. Pacer looks, to me, like a great business that should fit well with Soli's operations in general.

The price of £3.73m for sales of £15.2m does seem good value where the PSR number would be 0.24.

The overseas sales segment represents 40% which looks particularly exciting.

An acquisition today.



They'll have to borrow a bit of money, but it's not going to shag their balance sheet so i'm happy with this. Expected to be earnings enhancing in the first year.

SOLI seems like a well run company that is expanding carefully, rather than massively gearing up with acquisition after acquisition.

Yes a very pleasing trading update today. I can usually tell whether any company's trading update is going to be good or not generally by the first paragraph and I wasn't disappointed this time.

Pleased to see the positive Trading Update today. Hope it may well restore a bit of pep to the share price Interims stated for 20th November.

The results are OK, not sure they are good however the lower margin had been flagged, I wouldn't expect the share price to fall today however I wouldn't expect it to move up much either.

With regards to the order book, it looks good however if they need lots more revenue for profits to stand still it's not a great sign.

Agree it's encouraging, and £4m is a lot of batteries so the end customer is clearly blue chip. I know from my cycling gps how the battery performance changes dramatically with variations in temperature. So a bit further up the quality chain than just supplying lithium batteries.

I picked up a few during the antenna issue slump so probably is little biased.

Seriously though - probably going to be a slow-burner but I think this underpins a higher price for SOLI.

I'd say a 10% of annual t/o deal with further collaboration opportunities is worth an RNS. No expert in the area but I'd imagine robot pickers for dark warehouses will be a growing industry.

At least they didn't mention graphene in the battery construction :-)

@vh - anything remotely attached to robotics (no pun intended) seems to command a massive premium - small deal in the scheme of things, but worth quite a bit to the share price I say :)

It looks to me like it could be Cannacord reducing their stake which is causing further weakness in the price. Let's hope they don't want shot of it all.

I think these are looking interesting again at these prices, the recent guidance suggests they're on a modest rating now and the balance sheet is pretty solid.

Just one thing that's worrying me is they mentioned that they are thinking of making larger acquisitions but they're either going to have to gear up which I don't like or pay in shares when the price is depressed.

"Tommo" now saying sell, that caused the sharp drop the other day, and a few more sells today with the mag having come out. Probably more on Monday when people read it over the weekend. Glad to see Mr Tipster exit in truth - happy to see weak money exit.

I've been buying these recently around the £2.78 mark, share price is down nearly 50% since August 2017, fall looks well overdone imho.

A market cap of 30 - 35 million would be realistic here.
