Georgezoros,

Thanks for the link. Rick Rule is very entertaining.

Confirms what I posted earlier regarding the positive effect US QE will have on the gold price.

I'm all-in and I feel everyone should be all-in on SOLG. The underlying value of Alpala is significantly less then the current share price. We know that Porvenir is likely to match or surpass Alpala on valuation. It is highly likely Rio Amarillo will do the same. Buying SOLG today, you pay less than the value of Alpala and get Porvenir, Rio and our other 68 sites thrown in for free. It's a complete and utter no-brainer. Efficient markets, where the hell are they?

Whats DD going on about now . ? By sounds of it the 40 bucks per oz for gold in the ground .

If anyone does not believe me just google it . Written by someone a far more intelligent than DD .

Try.

The real price of gold in the ground.. kitco Gold

Interesting that it does not seem to change that much weather the GOld price is high or lower .

As Alpala has electricity . Roads . Water blah blah blah it should be worth more . But we want the bottom not the top to make sure we dont pay over the odds .

Have to. The other day, the price of Solgold also moved with the market and the next day it went up with the market. So, any news, that*s it.

Nick Mather gave Mining Journal a interview via video. He said his vision is to emulate Fortescue*s growth. Well, even if he is half successful, that is a big market cap.

Hannan said that FCF ie free cash flow from Alpala is US$1billion a year for 10 years and then US$120m for the rest of the years till yonks.

Mather said Porvenir bigger than Alpala in his Red Cloud presentation a few days ago from recall.

If Mather succeeds, he will become one of Australia*s next billionaire/s in mining.

SP Angel mentioned in their conclusion about 14 TARGETS so just a handful, say 4-5 will suffice for the time being with test drilling to prove models.

Lots of goodwill and blessing from those whose lives may be also blessed. Lots of mutual funds and EFT*s also riding on Solgold so hoards of investors not looking for the 10% trade.

Franco Nevada gave Solgold US$35 for gold-in-the-ground. We have been through this before and the workings.

Nevada gave Solgold US$100million based on their deposit and priced gold-in-the-ground at US$35 per oz. Real money that is - $100m.

What's the point of saying "an 'average' price of gold in the ground is $40" MkN ? When I looked this up in the last mining bull market the 'price' of gold in the ground had varied from about $10 to $100 depending on a multitude of factors, not least the date which spanned 5 or more years. Which are you going to choose ?
And what's the point (as someone else said -or it might have been the same - I can't be bothered even to look back to check) of saying
"something is 'unlikely, but possible' ?
Shows extraordinarily muddled thinking, suppression of which would free up an extraordinary amount of space here

Those drill cores in today's RNS, particularly between 400m-500m look great !.

Let's get the early Porvenir assay results in a few weeks and see what we really have.
I'm very hopeful !

Arcadian . Thats why you need to have a low value estimate of the companies worth and when its lower than that value buy like theres no tomorrow .

We are at that stage here imho we may drop some more as buying at the bottom or selling at the top are impossible for most although many seem to achieve it on this and Lse BB .😃

Given the last few days we should be grateful to

DD for his reminder that stock markets are not there to determine value ; only to allow buyers and sellers to accommodate each other.

and above

Rouge for reiterating a powerful investment case for buying the shares for the long/medium term.

Too much going on for me to trade this at the moment .

As i said earlier we could get some Asseys from Blanca or La Hueca on Monday which could surprise to the upside selling at 700m market cap does not interest me even more when i know we will get at least double that if an offer came in next week .

Let me rephrase the Blanca and La Hueca asseys there is nothing in the share price for them so any half decent result could see a large rise in the share price .

The share price is too cheap most should be thinking of buying not selling imho

It's never wrong to take a profit and everyone has their own risk threshold.

In the very short-term who knows where the share price goes, but over the next 12 months I would expect the share price to be higher and trying to trade in and out may be difficult to time.

My reason for buying hasn't changed and I'm not over invested so I'll continue to hold unless a significant reason to sell presents itself.

Did you know the average price for an oz of gold in the ground is 40 US dolars.

Our market cap is now 700 million pounds

So Alpala GOLD ONLY would be worth approx our market cap .

Copper for free .. Porvenir at Zero other 75 sites at Zero .

And some are gambling on selling their shares to buy them back cheaper at 35p . Are they mad ?

These are low prices paid for Gold in the Ground .

The copper price and the near 10% fall in US markets and weak UK/European markets have undoubtedly been a backdrop to a weaker SOLG price...

Otherwise we would have been in the 40s right now after today's RNS.

I've already taken £60k profits out of SOLG in the last fortnight or so and still have 900k. How can that be wrong.

All the statements about SOLG on here today are undeniable, but if the US Election produces massive uncertainty and ALL share prices fall, like they did in March when SOLG hit 10p despite BHP paying 45p 2 years ago, neither the SOLG share price nor NM's RNS's can resist the forces of nature...

"Its the market stupid..."

If the SOLG price goes up to 40p next week, congratulations to all of you and I'll still be another £54,000 better off.

If it goes down, I'll have £100k ready to go back into the market...

Let's see...have a great weekend all...

AIMO as usual...

Goodgrief,

Possibly but QE looks unavoidable in the next 12 months. If so the gold dollar price must rise.

gisjob2, think the markets might be worried about (yet more) chaos Trump might unleash if he loses and yet gets to remain in the White House till January. Or the results are too close to call and civil unrest breaks out! Beyond that, looks great for gold!

Not sure why the US election should be a negative for SOLG. Hobson choice for the market as a whole too. Both Trump and Biden are going to need QE as part of a fiscal package which can only be positive for the gold price. If you intend holding SOLG for longer than 5 minutes the election shouldn't matter.

I've been saying for a while now, forget the daily price movements unless they are linked to news. Look at the longer term direction of travel and underlying cause. We will have 3 blockbuster announcements, all have the potential to move our price dramatically. If you believe in the content of those announcements, hold strong.
